Jeff is the oldest of 5 kids in his family, with his younger brothers and sisters ranging in age from 6 to 13. He liked the idea of being in between that age range so that he could bond with his siblings like never before. Following a debate that lasted several minutes, Jeff settled on 8 years old, half his current age. He also chose to remove his clothes except his boxers so that he could observe his body as it changed.
As his finger hovered the mouse to click accept, the entire change dawned on him. He wanted to try being younger, and he was one click away from becoming the boy he was in 2013 once again.
Filled with anxiety and excitement, Jeff clicked ACCEPT.
Seconds later, Jeff's body was overcome by a pins and needles feeling throughout his skin and bones. His body was covered by what reminded him of goosebumps. The feeling left him paralyzed as he descended through puberty in reverse. His height diminished, his body hair was erased like pencil on paper, and his teeth began to shift in his mouth.
The whole process took less than a minute, and Jeff was soon able to move his body once again. He was alarmed after realizing his feet were dangling off the computer chair. He was preparing to spin the chair when he saw his underwear. Gone was the plaid boxers, and in its spot was a pair of Pokemon briefs. He never bothered to look underneath, figuring that he would have to go to the bathroom sooner or later.
Save for his computer, his entire room changed. What used to resemble a normal teenage boy bedroom was now more childish, with bright colored walls and a smaller bed. The sheets on his wall were Super Mario themed, and posters of Mario and Sonic were on the walls. Being a Nintendo and Sonic fanboy as a kid, Jeff was not surprised to see that kind of change.
Jeff then peeked into his dresser as he was not interested in spending the day in his underwear. From cartoon tees, matching pajamas, to even colored socks, Jeff's wardrobe matched his new age. He had also realized how tall the dresser looked compared to his height as he could barely reach the top while standing on his toes. It was at that moment that he noticed his missing traces of puberty.
He searched his torso, limbs, and armpits for minutes to find even one strand of body hair. However, being 8 years old meant coming up short. His torso had also changed, with it being smoothed out and devoid of his hard work on the track team. This suddenly put Jeff in the mood for a run, which he could do while playing with his siblings later on, or even his "new" friends.
Not being settled in his younger body yet, Jeff wasn't sure if the Pikachu t-shirt, blue camo shorts, and red and white socks would fit him, or if they would be too small. That perspective changed the second his head poked through the shirt easily. He darted to the bathroom once the rest of his clothes were on.
Locking the door to the bathroom he shared with his siblings, Jeff froze after seeing the boy reflected at him in the mirror. This was the exact boy he used to be in 2013, with only four adult teeth on his bottom jaw and two budding front teeth on the top among the sea of baby teeth in his mouth. The mophead haircut that Jeff remembered from childhood photos made its return. With his clothes on, Jeff looked every bit like the 8 year old he was transformed into. He jumped with joy upon realizing that he was really 8 years old again, and looked forward to possibly spending the whole summer as a kid.
