Outwardly.. Charles gives a nervous, focused shrug, still appearing fully human and giving a answer back. "Heh.. You know that.. I'm straight as a arrow.. I love the ladies.. I would never go for a throbbing.. juicy.. Eeep!" Charles yelps out, "What was that?? What did I just do???" He asks himself.. He stares ahead in disbelief.. He wants to go home right now.. This is too much.. He shakes his head, forcing himself to calm down.. He sees the sign for an exit up ahead, and starts to make his way there.. Once he gets to the exit, he sees a big shopping center, and pulls off in front of it.
He parks the car in front of a large building, the windows of which are covered by bars.. He sits there for a while staring at the parking lot, and he smiles, planning on stocking up on more snacks and camping supplies.
"Lets stop right here guys! Why don't we go enjoy these rustic outdoors! All those.. Hehe... heady fantasys are a bit much.. But so can just be a escape.. Enjoying the moment. Having some fun out in the sun, right? Lets enjoy this summer day!" Charles yells out.. He then throws open his door, stepping out of the car, looking about..
They spend another few hours driving, catching up on gossip and random things until they eventually arrive at an ancient wilderness forest park, off the road.. It looks quite serene, and peaceful.. A nearby sign indicating it's a popular off the road spot for campers.. But there's a animal warning. After securing the area, they set up camp for the night, bringing down sleeping bags, camp pads, and
"But... How will we all fit in one hotel room?" Benjamin worried as he kept glancing at his watch.
"Easy peasy, easy peezy! There's going to be three to four of us each car, so why do we need a hotel room? We can rent a condo, we can camp in tents, we could rent a place for a day!" explained Charles with a wink, his tone growing more sly and enticing as he rubbed his hands together, his devilish eyes gazing intently. "Well, yeah, but we'd have to pack.. Pack clothes and other stuff.. But that's not important right now.. We have a lot to do, we need to get ready for our trip! You guys will be staying here tonight, you have no clue what we have planned.." said Anthony, adjusting the radio and turning on a new station playing some loud distorted music, "Wait, wait, wait! Its too loud.. Here.. Take a listen to this instead, I found this one. Have a listen to this song.. it'll make you want to scream like a girl and drive your mouth off!" he said, pulling over to the side of the road and grabbing a CD out of his glove compartment, handing it to Benjamin.
Benjamin listened, curious as he put the CD into the stereo.. He noticed the style of music, and smiled a bit. He popped it in, and then.. a blast of terrible rap and garage death metal that sounded like a wailing walrus falling into a pair of drums in a accident hit him!!! "Oh my god.. This is so loud!! I can't hear anything clearly..!" exclaimed Benjamin with a gasp, his ears hurting as he turned the volume down and shut it off.
"I was kidding, relax. Now, it's too loud?" asked Anthony, smiling in amusement. "The way you react to music makes me wonder, how many girls would you crush?" asked the Walkie Talkie Charles, Anthony arching an eyebrow and grinning.
"What?? What are you talking about!? I'm NOT gonna try to do anything with anyone else!" protested Benjamin quickly, his voice quivering with a touch of panic.
"Ah, well.. It's not THAT simple. How many girls would you go for? How many boys would you date? Would you want to get married? Have kids? Would you like to own your own business? Where would you end up living? Who would you spend your money on?" teased another Walkie Talkie voice.
"OH... SH.. SHUT UP!" yelled Benjamin, throwing a pack of sunflower seeds from the back as Anthony laughed. "Oh yeah i forgot! We brought snacks for the ride, tender beef jerky, spicy ranch and buffalo sunflower seeds, nuts, crackers. And we even have a couple exotics like crunchy and zesty oriential rice crackers, you should try them, they're actually quite good, as well as chocolate dipped pretzels, stringy cheeses, curds, bacon, and sodas in the back, Feel free to grab any if you need for the ride!" Anthony responded, tossing a can of soda at each of us. "Just don't spill it like a dumbass inside my ride ya hear! As long as you treat it all well, i'll be happy to drive you dumb lot anywhere!" teased Anthony as the roguish but friendly maverick teased the reserved, but simplehearted Benjamin.
Benjamin looked out the window at the scenery, enjoying the smooth summer breeze blowing through his hair and across his forehead. He closed his eyes and let his head fall against the window, as he began to ponder over the possibilities of what may happen. He opened his eyes again, and saw that the scenery had changed from green trees to a desert. He marveled out as he looked out the window, middle class, often prone to staying in hotels, yet it seemed this was his first time doing a roadtrip.
The scenery changed from bright green evergreen woods, Deserts, hot sand and dunes, cacti, rocks, and hillsides.. Earthy Mountains, Bright blue springs.. River Forests and tapering highways. He could see a large mountain range in the distance.. A dusty town stood in front of him.. It seemed desolate and dry, and reminded him of the Mojave desert.
"So.. Where is Yellowstone.. Anyways?" asked Benjamin.
"Yeah, uhm, well we're headed towards Wyoming, where we can meet Yellowstone. I guess its mostly known for its active Geysers, where semi active underground volcano faults heat up water to a boil and blast it up to 100 feet high at a place called Old Faithful! There's lots of wooden walk boards we can see, and the place you can feel your bones blasted by hot, warm fresh steam, but it also has a lot of forest with untouched animals, some of the last recovering bison in America, as well as wolves, cougars, and even a few bears! Though you probably won't see much of it yet because its far away from civilization." answered Anthony.
"Yeah! And if we get bored, there's a place called Grand Teton National park just a hour away from Yellowstone, responds Charles. "It Sounds like a blast!"
"That sounds cool.." commented Benjamin, gazing at the flashing roads with fascination. "I've never seen a place so different from where I live."
Anthony glanced back at the two, "If you guys aren't too tired, you can come along with us! In fact, you can join me and Charles if you want Ben! And don't forget, we still have the two others with us, don't worry!
Anthony tosses another bag of treats back at us, you and I sitting back along for the ride as we both laugh and share along in the moment.
