“How about Balbrick Manor.” You say as your two friends look at you somewhat surprised. Balbrick Manor was famous for its haunted tours and was said to be one of the most haunted places in the United States if not the world. It was said, ghosts, demons, devils, vampires, and werewolves haunted the massive old southern manor which had been abounded since the end of the Civil War. “My ex promised to take me on a haunted tour of the Manor but he dumped me before we went last Halloween.”
“It would be the off season, save some money maybe get private tour.” said Ruth, she was the planner and organizer of your friends. She once joked one of the better parts of a vacation was the spread sheet, she made to help plan it out.
“And it’s near New Orleans we can do the haunted tour and then go out for a night or two on the town.” Added Chyna as you grin, she was more of the bar/club scene girl in your group, but she was down for a haunted tour.
“So it’s a go, Balbrick Manor here we come!” you announce.
A few days later, the three of you left your bags at the hotel and headed in your rented car up an abandoned looking road toward what looked to be a old southern plantation style home. It looked like it was a set in some horror movie, faded white paint, old out buildings which looked to be at the point of falling down and a couple of massive weeping willow trees.
“Here we are.” You say as you park in the parking lot outside the large stone wall which surrounded the manor.
