You got home from school that day, it had been the last day of college and you enter your parents home and after a welcome home dinner walk upstairs to your old room that you had not seen in about a year. You slump into your desk and turn your pc on and it whirrs to life, you think to yourself "I need to move out of here and get a place of my own, but I don't have nearly enough money to be on my own yet". Just then you get a good idea, "maybe I could find a roommate to live with" but being the anti social person you are you do not have many friends and the ones you do have aren't looking for a roommate.
"I guess ill just have to find a listing online" you tell yourself and open your pc to craigslist. Soon you find a listing that looks promising, its another guy looking strictly for roommate, the listing says he would prefer a female roommate and seeing that you are a guy you soon realize that he may not take you in. But this guy is the closest one and you don't want to travel too far away in case you need to visit your parents for anything, you decide to check the users contact info and he leaves a email address which you instantly click on and start writing him a message asking him if he is still looking for a roommate.
Almost instantly as soon as you send the email he replies and asks if you're a girl, when you tell him that your not he responds again sounding slightly annoyed by the fact you aren't a girl but says "well the listing has been open for quite some time and I guess another guy is better than no roommate, the room is yours if you want it". Not believing your luck that he accepted you as his roommate you then begin packing your things for the rest of the evening in anticipation of meeting your new roommate.
The next morning as you wake up you then tell your parents the great news that you found a roommate to live with and they are more than happy for you to be starting your life living independently for the first time. You then grab your belongings and head to the address he emailed you to meet your new roommate.
