The cheerleading scholarship sounded tempting, because it wasn't like he had a huge opportunity to pay for college. The girl's locker room was also tempting.
"Fine, we can choose girl."
Suzy did a happy bounce. "You are going to over it." She declared.
"You better be right." Connor told her.
"Trust me." She told him. "You're about to be me." She winked.
Suzy went to tell the doctor. She soon returned with their parents.
The doctor smiled. "Suzy says you chose, nut you want it to be a surprise for your parents."
Connor didn't remember agreeing to the second part but he was fine with it. "That's right." He told them.
"Alright, please step into the chambers." Suzy skipped to the chamber, not being subtle in the least. Connor went into his own.
The chamber closed and Connor started taking deep breaths. This was it, no going back. There was a glow that started at the bottom and moved up. Connor wasn't sure how it worked or how his body was supposed to move to the chamber in the middle but memories began moving into his head.
Being a little girl running in a skirt, losing her mom, cheer camp, her first period. A whole life flooded into her head.
A second later the door opened. She felt shorter then she should have been, or was it taller? Her brown hair laid on her shoulders as she looked back and forth between her parents.
One was a dad who was always there for, who went through the embarrassment of teaching her feminine hygiene. The other was a mom that took him to boy scouts and coached him on how to ask out a girl and his to handle his first date.
They were both her parents, and they were both wonderful. She understood what they were talking about now, how fusion technology would allow her to be both if their children.
Her parents held out their arms as she ran into them. She couldn't wait to see what happens next
