Walking slowly with his new tail, Jeff shouted goodbye to his parents and made his way out to his car. Sitting down with his tail down his pant leg was uncomfortable, so Jeff tried to control it and pull it out. To his surprise, it worked! The tail now sat outside of his pants, curled up in his lap. Jeff petted it gently, and was surprised by how good it felt. "Snowball does like to get pet on the tail. I can see why!" Jeff said with a chuckle.
He started to drive, and eventually reached a stoplight, which turned red the moment he got to it. As he waited for the light to change, Jeff felt his hands tingle. He watched as his fingers shrank down into toes, while his palms lengthened and gained a heel. The toes were topped off with a light blue nail polish, the color his sister Courtney wore. His new feet-hands were also more tan than the rest of his arms, which Jeff found pretty funny. He didn't have much time to process this however, as the light turned green.
Jeff gripped the steering wheel with his feet-hands, and found they were surprisingly dexterous. Not as much as his real hands, of course, but he could still steer and use his toes to change the radio station. Soon, Jeff pulled into a parking space and stepped out, slinging his backpack over his shoulder and fumbling with the keys. But his face turned to a shocked expression as his keys disappeared in his feet hands, and his car was replaced with his baby brother's stuffed giraffe toy.
"Are you serious? Danny got my car? He can't even drive!" Jeff sighed and picked up the giraffe, holding its arm between his big toe and second. "I guess I'd better hang onto this. Dan would lose his shit if he lost it." He was glad that reality was changing-hopefully none of his friends would give him shit for the toy.
