Palador could feel the spirit flowing through him, everywhere it was seeping into every part of him. His struggled to resist to somehow fight this, but nothing seemed to work. His will was mighty but had no way of knowing anything to do. Not that there was anything for him to do but waste his efforts.
"Ooh I see our puny prince getting some muscles," Queen Beth cooed lustfully.
Indeed it was true. Palador had always been a sickly prince, and had barely made it to age five. His parents were always doting on him, isolating him. As a result the prince had grown up pale and thin, with no strength or endurance to speak of. He was noble but never would have the strength to become a leader. Now his skinny arms were begining to bulge. From everywhere at once Palador could feel his body temperature rising, a growing sensation of strength and power flowed throughout him. He knew it at once, that wicked witch queen had errered. She was improving him. Palador knew the trap before him, his resistance and strength of will had shown it to him. If he resisted, he would be trapped as her slave but if he embraced the change....
"RAHH!" The Prince roared and the change accelarated, no resistance in his voice but a cry of truimph.
His growing muscles bulge, his body going from sickly and pale to toned masculine perfection in moments. His tiny prick stood proud in his arousal at the transformation, already eight inches and growing. his nails were growing long and showing points. Hair was growing too, starting almost unnoticably on his chest and spread. It was golden. The prince was in need of a shave, sporting a beard of auburn the same of that now atop his head, but darker than that growing all over his body. As the hair spread, thickening into full fledged fur as small nub sprouted from the base of his spine and rapidly became a long sinuous tail. The tuft of fur on the end was obvious.
"No...NO!" Queen Beth screamed, "There aren't supposed to be any real nobles, damn it. You should be some simpering pig, not... not... a LION"
The which so shocked at the sight before her, and admittingly even a little in awe. This was not how she had planned it at all. Desperately she tried to think of anything that might stop the transformation. Whether she did or not would never be known. Snapping his bonds Palador lunged with incredible speed. His growing claws had cut the Queen Beth throat before she even blinked. Her death was marked by a terrible squeal from Galla as her mistress was destroyed and her mind free from enslavement. She was still a wererat though, the evil Queens death would not change what she had done.
As Beth feel dead to the floor Palador threw back his head and roared. It filled the room as his face shifted into that of a Lion's. Tall and imposing, with beautiful golden fur and an auburn mane, and a cock standing tall enough that his mother and sister stared at it, Palador had become a King of Beasts.
"And so you die witch," He said in a deep voice.
Galla cowered on the ground before her brother, throughly intimidated. Palador gave her one look then turned to his parents. He slashed their bonds and freed them. Queen Belle looked about to faint, in awe and perhaps attracted to the transformation that had taken her son. It more than made up for the loss of Galla, who was now on stroking herself while staring shamelessly at her brother. The King though bore and even blank expression. It was the one a ruler learned to put up, the one that revealed nothing.
"I am king now father," Palador said.
