Spring was bringing many things to Animalia besides college students on break from their studies. There were also some new members coming to Animalia or its colonies, as well as some new discoveries.

Probably the biggest in terms of news was that "Spring Fever" was hitting the "Christian Kittens", as some online called them, and this had sparked a debate on whether or not to waive the celibacy rule for Animalians. Of course, this was causing the sensationalists, the internet gossipmongers, and fake news makers to fabricate all kinds of stories to either entertain or enrage people. Fortunately, both the Vatican and Animalia were able to separate fact from fake news. While there was a debate currently ongoing on whether or not Animalians had to adhere to the same rules of celibacy as humans while in the clergy, there certainly wasn't a new "lust cult" forming in Animalia, ever.

"So, these are some of Mr. M.'s old coworkers from his internet days?" asked Miss Fabina, looking over the files that the Horizon agent in Dino City sent her during their skype. According to what she received, there were six Dinotopians: three men, three women; three predators, and three prey; Only one female and two males were prey Dinotopians, the rest were predators.
"That's correct." said the agent, "From the early days of internet porn, when websites had names like 'giantjugs' and 'mr13inches'. Nowadays people want some actual plot with their... pleasure."
"So, Mr. M. has been working on some scripts for just such occasions?" asked Miss Fabina, having read over one once. "What I want to know is why would anyone want to see a male prey Animalian/Dinotopian sexually turn the tables on a female predator Animalian?"
"I think it's a kind of 'role reversal' thing." said the agent, who had also seen one of Mr. M.'s scripts.

The video that showed Tyson rescuing a college student only for her to throw up on his chest was quickly generating views, and controversy. The internet trolls were already saying that she had gotten stung deliberately as an attempt to hook up with a guy. Others thought that she was just unfortunate, both in getting stung and throwing up.

What was probably generating the most interest was the Quasi-Racoon Cuties' coverage of Spring Break on Heiya Island. Since Heiya Island was becoming a sort of pan-Asian Colony, it was combining features from several Spring Celebrations from other Asian countries, not just China and Japan.
What was probably the funniest was when the Restaurant that Gongniu trashed officially reopened in what was becoming unofficially known as Heiya Island's Capital City (most often referred to as the Imperial City, since both Chinese and Japanese were still debating on what to call it), mainly because of the schoolgirls who regularly swarmed muscular male Animalians, especially new ones, swarming Gongniu. Fortunately, Rose was there to help keep things from getting too out of hand, as well as Heiya Island's Samurai Policemen. Of course, Muxing having a dinner date with Li-Wei was also a good way to raise publicity while also dispelling slander about the owner being gay, etc., especially since Muxing was one of the Five Elements.

In "Local News", Lena/"Lizzie", as well as her parents, were discovering, to their chagrin, that Lizzie was starting to notice the male lions, especially since she'd begun working out with the lionesses, and since Blanca and Candida were having their first cubs, and their pheromones were causing Lizzie quite some confusion, and her parents even more so since she hadn't had the talk about "the birds and the bees" quite yet. Fortunately, Aslan was more than willing to help them out by explaining how different terms like "prince", "princess", and "queen" were in "lion terms".

Of course, one side effect of Spring was people in school getting ready for their exams. So, there were a number of "study nights" planned, supervised to make sure nobody in the group would end up as parents in one way or another, much to the young Animalians' embarrassment.
