"Hey, everybody! It's the Quasi-Raccoon Cuties here on Heiya Island!" said Tani in her cheerful voice.
"Spring's finally here," said Naya, "And that includes Spring Break too! So we've got some tourists taking a look around here."
"And for good reason," said Date, "We're gonna give you a look around to see what spring looks like on this island."

"Now here's something that everyone loves: the first cherry blossoms of spring," said Naya, showing several trees covered in pink and white petals.
"Cherry blossoms have a lot of significance in Japanese culture," said Date, "They symbolize clouds, which you can easily see here. But they're also a symbol of the brevity of life, a reminder for people to enjoy what they have while they can."
"So why don't these trees have any blossoms?" asked Tani, looking towards another group of trees that had small buds on them.
"Because they're a completely different kind of cherry tree." The camera turned to look at Nate Bowman.
"Hi, Mr. Bowman," said Tani, "Are these your trees?"
"Mr. Bowman's my father," said Nate, "And yes, they're my trees. They were a wedding gift."
"But they seem to be pretty late," said Date.
"I'm not growing these trees for the blossoms. I do think that those cherry blossoms are pretty, almost as pretty as my wife. But for me, I'm more interested in cherry trees for their fruit," said Nate.
"Ooh, who doesn't love cherries?" said Naya, "How long before you're ready to harvest?"
"It'll probably be a few years before they really produce any fruit," said Nate, "But I know where I can get cherries until then. Shuixing has been practicing with Chinese pastry recipes that can include cherries."
"And how are they?" asked Tani.
"Well...it's a bit hard to get them into the right shape with fingers like these," said Nate, holding up his hoof-tipped fingers, "But she's doing her best."
"I hope you'll be sharing your cherries when they're grown," said Naya.
"I can at least make them a reasonable price," said Nate.

"All that talk about food makes me hungry," said Tani.
"Fortunately, there's a new place on Heiya Island to eat at," said Naya, leading the others into a Chinese restaurant.
"Isn't that the water buffalo who was working at that other restaurant?" asked Tani, the camera showing Gongniu who was working at the register, which had quite a few young woman flocking around him.
"I believe so," said Naya, "What is he doing here?"
"Well, the restaurant relocated here after some unfounded rumors ruined business on the mainland," said Date, "By the way, the owner is definitely not gay. Believe me, I'd be able to tell."
"And look who else is here," said Tani, swinging the camera around to show two snakes sitting at a table. Three if you consider the two heads on the male as separate snakes.
"Muxing of the Five Elements, what interesting company you're keeping," said Date.
Muxing glared at them and said, "I'm not here for you gossip mongers to wag your tongues. Li-Wei and I are only endorsing this restaurant together. Now leave us alone."
"But surely fans want to know-" started Naya before the camera was suddenly sent flying and clattered across the floor. "Hey, watch the equipment!" snapped Naya's voice before she picked up the camera and looked at it. "Ok, no cracks. But clearly Muxing wants her privacy. So let's not bother her anymore."
"Still, it's nice to see one of the Five Elements here," said Tani, "Though I would have preferred to see Huoxing here."
"Ok, girls, enough," said Date, "We don't want to become the obnoxious kind of paparazzi."
"Heaven forbid," said Tani.
"Well, there's still plenty of Spring Break left," said Naya, "And you know what's right around the corner."
"April Fools!" said all three Quasi-Raccoon Cuties. What this trio would be doing that day would be anyone's guess.
