As the pod lid opened, Teddy slowly returned to consciousness. The initial disorientation of finding himself in unfamiliar surroundings faded as he caught sight of the Nanny Bot's smiling face.
"Wakey wakey Teddy," it said then suddenly scrunched its nose, "Uh uh smells like somebody made a stinky."
"Wah?," Teddy mumbled with some difficulty as he realized him thumb was firmly planted in his mouth. He shifted position trying to make some sense of the situation and felt it immediately. He had somehow managed to shit himself and not even wake up. How was that possible?
Understandably upset, he pulled his thumb free and started crying. At first it was mostly quiet tears of shock, but just a tad below his awareness the suit subtly rewarded each whimper until he soon found them escalated to full blown wailing.
The android picked him up and began rocking him as it headed towards a changing station. As he began calming in response to the motion, the suit once again began quietly reinforcing the behavior.
He soon found himself laid on the station's surface, the android undid the changing flap on his suit and pulled off the soiled diaper. After dropping it into a matter recycling chute, it began cleaning him with a handheld disinfecting laser. The odd tingling sensation caused him to instinctively kick out with his legs. With a little nudging from the suit, he soon found himself kicking and squirming as the android continued the process.
"You're certainly a wiggly one," the android replied with a hollow laugh, "Here why don't you try playing with this instead."
It offered him a rattle which he reluctantly accepted. He examined it and found one side produced the rattling sound and the other was a soft ring that was cool to the touch. The use of tve latter was fairly obvious considering the subtle discomfort Teddy had been ignoring in his mostly toothless mouth.
He experimentally set it against his irritated gums and found it provided some relief. The cold hands of the android spreading more anti-irritant cream caused him to bite down which proved much more effective. He soon found himself aggressively chewing on the object, to the point he hadn't noticed to changing process had advanced until the android had already sealed the flap and was lifting him up again.
