“Soooooo….” Amy said slowly, looking directly at me.
“So… what?” I asked, somewhat timidly.
“I’ve had this entire dimension to myself for a year. I was granted this power last time the wave passed us by. I’ve brought people in it, done funny things to them, and sent them on their way. But eternity with this power is boring. And I don’t want to spend it alone. So….” Amy continued.
“So?” I asked again.
“Thomas, I want a friend to share this power with!”
I was shocked to hear this. Wait, she was giving me godlike powers too?
“Yep! I can read your mind by the way. And I also gave you powers already. You were able to use them since you arrived,” Amy responded to my thought.
I had powers already? I thought about a cup of water appearing in my hand, and sure enough, I was holding a cup of water.
“Amy? I’m sorry if I was ever mean or distant. This was a really nice thing to do. But why did you need to stuff me in a closet?” I asked.
“To scare you. I thought it would be funny. Now, do you have any fun ideas on what we could use our powers to do?” Amy asked.
