Compared to the first day, Tina felt slightly more comfortable. Part of that likely had something to do with Leah managing to navigate through her first day so well. If she kept this up, perhaps it was in her best interest to pull her daughter out of high school and have her go to the daycare full time.
"Mommy!" Leah announced, skipping about as she approached her mother. Appearance unchanged from when she was dropped off in the morning, happiness clung tightly to her body. Humming a childish tune, Tina honestly couldn't be happier.
"How was your day, Leah?" Tina inquired and watched her daughter jump into the air. Holding in a chuckle, she waited for Leah to land back on solid ground.
"Everyone was so nice to me! It was wonderful!" Leah announced, doing her best toddler impression. Tina had to admit it, but it was quite convincing.
"I'm happy to hear that." she announced and reached out to her daughter's hand.
