Moonbeam began to giggle softly, stretching her legs outwards as she gazed at the now aquamarine room. "Trippy mood lighting man."
Leaning back on her hands, Moonbeam now looked at the timer in the wall, watching as it went from 22 to 21. "So I'm 21 now," she asked.
"Yes and still growing younger."
"Bitchin," she smiled. Moonbeam now gazed at her birkenstock covered feet, wiggling her toes as she now began to think out loud. "Man this trippy! Traveling backwards generation by generation. Becoming one with the cosmos."
The Age Room continued to watch the young hippy as she descended into her teens. A now 19 year old Moonbeam shifting in place as she glanced at her bellbottons. "Huh looks like I'm shrinking too," she whispered. "The waist of my jeans is loose. They've fit me for a few years now."
Moonbeam chuckled, gazing at her feet as she now reentered high school in the opposite direction. The teenage hippies face was beginning to soften, crossing the bridge between teen and adult. Pushing back her long blond hair, she now cupped her breasts, giggling as she felt them slowly melt under her grasp.
"Far out man," the now 16 year old whispered. "I can feel myself shrinking."
"You are growing younger," the Age Room corrected. "Reliving puberty in reverse. It will only be a matter of time before your own mother reenter the room."
"What a drag," Moonbeam groaned. "My mom was like a total square. Not like my grandma though. Did you know she actually marched for women's suffrage? The lady was a legend."
"I had no idea," the Age Room stated as it watched Moonbeam become 15. The girls curves were now rapidly melting away, leaving the blonde a waifish and cute young teen.
"Yeah got to meet her a couple of times," Moonbeam replied, her voice slowly rising in pitch. "She died when I was like 8. I have no idea how my mom ended up a total tool of the man. She was all like strict and traditional. Thinking a woman's place was in the kitchen. Always bossing me around. She like totally wanted to control every aspect of my life."
Moonbeams eyes now went wide as she gazed at her feet, watching as they slowly began to shrink out of her sandals while slowly being pulled inside her jeans. "Wow check it out," Moonbeam exclaimed as she went from 14 to 13. "I'm like totally shrinking over here!"
The Age Room could only reply yes, watching as Moonbeam inched closer to childhood. Puberty was rapidly abandoning the girl, her height decreasing as her curves melted away. Instead of the curvy, attractive hippy a now skinny girl just showing the first signs of puberty sat. Moonbeam now glanced up at the timer, watching it slowly tick back towards 12.
"Hey magic man," she called. "If I like say grow up will the rest of my line return?"
The Age Room paused, yes it was possible. Technically the remains of the previous generations existed within its confines. It was plausible that if the latest generation asked they would return. They would just need to ask.
"Yes I believe so," it said. "You would just need to ask that the generations after you return as well."
"Far out man," Moonbeam exclaimed.
"Do you wish to do that?"
"I don't know," the now 12 year old Moonbeam replied. "I mean I kinda like the idea of my mom getting knocked down a peg. Not being able to control everything. Seeing my groovy grandma take this cosmic trip."
The Age Room wanted to sigh, Moonbeam wouldn't be able to see her mother regress to unbirth as she would herself be unborn. Moonbeam now began to giggle, kicking her legs as she watched them slowly grow smaller, the extra material of her jeans flapping like sails as she descended further into childhood.
"Groovy man I'm shrinking like Alice, " the 12 year old giggled. "Magic man this is the craziest trip ever!"
