"Fukushu!"
Fukushu now turned towards Akira, the six tailed kitsune pointing towardsa squad of soldiers advancing. "Catalyst take Abolith, Akira and I will handle them."
Darren could only nod, useing his ring to strengthen his teenage body to now support the injured assassin. "Can you walk," he asked.
"I have managed worse child," she grunted. Abolith now draped her arm across Darren's shoulders as she took an unsteady step. "Why have you come Catalyst?"
"Fukushu asked for my help," Darren replied. "And judging by how you look I can see why." Abolith now lifted her head, a scowl across her bruised face. If she hadn't been so injured she would have slapped the child. Unfortunately for the elf she found his statement true, this wasn't one of her best ideas.
"Touche child."
Darren and Abolith now began to make their way towards a cave. Akira had used his world mirror to pinpoint Aboliths location. Useing its magic the trio had appeared inside a small secluded cave along the shore. This cave would prove to be both an entrance and exit for Darren and the others.
Going as fast as they could, Darren now listened to the sounds of battle behind him. Akira and Fukushu were obviously decimating their enemies, the cries of dying men echoing behind the. Darren dare not turn around though, fearing what the two kitsune had done to the Normal. "We're almost there!"
Darren was almost there, his pulse quickening as he and Abolith drew closer to the cave. They were almost away from this nightmare. In moments they would be away from this place and fixing up Abolith.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here."
Darren froze, he recognized that voice. Slowly he now turned with Abokith, his eyes fixing upon Evan Harris. The dark young wizard grinning at him with malicious intent. "Evan!"
"Oh this is too perfect," Evan grinned. "Here I was thinking we were finally going to get rid of Abolitb. Instead, we get to get rid of you."
"Abolith head to the cave," Darren said quickly, unsheathing the Dragons Tongue. "I can hold him off."
Evan now began to chuckle, casting the teen a bemused look. "You got heart kid I'll give you that," he said. "But here's the thing, its not just me."
Darren's eyes now went wide as Evans companions now joined home. Casseus, Ann, and Choon Hee now emerged from the shadows, their eyes glinting maniacally as the eyeballed Darren. Assuming a defensive stance, Darren began to prep a spell. He could do this. He was the Catalyst.
"Are you kidding me!"
Darren now watched as one more figure emerged from the shadows, the hooded figures red eyes burning with rage. The Boss seeming to burn a hole through Darren.
"Are you telling me that not only did this damn elf infiltrate MY ISLAND but this damn teenager did as well!" The Boss now spun, glaring at his lieutenants before turning back to Darren. "Kid usually I wouldn't bother getting rid of you but NOW you made it personal."
Darren watched now as the Boss began to form a massive spell in his hands. As he now prepared to counter, he feared he didn't quite have the strength to deflect the Bosses killing blow. Thankfully for him, he had backup.
Fukushu now roared, he and Akira now leaping into the fray as they unleashed a furious attack. The two kitsune now caused chaos, Akira fighting Casseus and Ann as Fukushu faced off against the Boss, Choon Hee, and Evan.
Darren could only gaze in amazement as Fukushu knocked Choon Hee and Evan back, the dark kitsune now one on one with the Boss. Fukushu now glaring at the man responsible for his fathers demise.
"You bested my father mortal," Fukushu growled. "Lets see how you fare against me!"
The Bosses eyes went wide, he had no idea he had won against Tatsu. Now facing an enraged nine tail kitsune the Boss tried to deflect the spells and strikes from an enraged Fukushu.
The two were evenly matched, trading blows that Darren thought would destroy anyone else. The Boss and Fukushu trying to gain any advantage as they looked for an opening. As Fukushu now dodged a magical blast from the Boss, he unleashed one of his own knocking the Boss to the ground. Fukushu now stood above the prone Boss, his katana held overhead as he looked to deliver a lethal blow.
"For Tatsu."
Fukushu now cried out in pain and anger as a series of spikes pierced his body. Dropping his sword, the kitsune now glared at his attacker, noticing the grin spread across Evan Harris's face. The blow itself doing nothing more than holding the kitsune in place and giving the Boss enough time to recover.
The Boss now began to laugh softly, approaching the impaled kitsune as he prepared a lethal spell of his own. "Say hi to your Pops for me."
Darren now screamed, the very Earth cracking beneath his feet as he held the Dragons Tongue aloft. Puzzled the Boss and Evan looked to him, their eyes growing wide in fear as the ghosts of Tatsu and Akane now charged forward.
Fukushus attackers had no chance to recover, the spirts of the former wielders delivering a massive blast of energy that now sent the two wizards soaring 30 feet in the opposite direction. Fukushu now freed himself, grunting in pain as his wounds began to close. Looking at the spirits of his father and former master, he noted a look of pride on their faces as they beckoned the others to flee.
"Fukushu we need to go NOW,," Darren yelled. Fukushu simply nodded, Akira now casting the spell to escape with Darren telling them to find someone to help.
