After the werehyenas resumed human form, they headed to Morgana's shop to find a solution. But first, Morgana had to understand Ellie's problem. "So, just so I understand this, you actually want to regain the fat you just lost," said Morgana.
"Yeah, I became a werehyena mainly because Harper did. I didn't think it would mean becoming like this," said Ellie before lifting up her baggier shirt to show the toned stomach underneath.
"You know, many women would do anything to lose their fat and get a body like that," said Morgana.
"Well, I'm not one of those women," said Ellie, "I like being chubby, that was who I am. I wasn't that unhealthy. I just liked being plump and cuddly. I don't know if I want to stay a werehyena if it means losing that."
"Hmm...I don't really get it, but that doesn't matter. Considering the many people I deal with, who am I to judge how much someone wants to weigh? But the real question is what are you willing to do to get your tummy back?" asked Morgana.
"Anything," said Ellie with conviction.
"Even go through extensive training?" asked Morgana.
"Training? To get fat?" asked Selena.
"It's her question to answer, not yours," said Morgana.
"Well, I am curious about how you're going to make me plump again," said Ellie.
"I can't help with that, but I know someone who can," said Morgana, "Ellie, how would you feel about becoming a sumo wrestler?"
"Sumo wrestler? I thought that was only a man's sport," said Harper.
"Well, you're not completely women now, are you?" asked Morgana pointedly.
"Ellie, would you want to be a sumo?" asked Harper, "They are pretty big."
"Well, it's not all fat," said Ellie, "They have a lot of muscle under that. I could get back into my full figure in no time."
"Probably not that soon," said Morgana, "You see, werebeasts have a very healthy metabolism, one that would normally keep the fat off them unless they completely give up on themselves. However, there are supernatural means to counteract that. There is this old kappa near Kyoko who's a master of the art of sumo. He makes a chankonabe stew that will put pounds on anyone, even a werebeast. I could see if he would want to take you on as a student."
"That sounds great, but how am I supposed to go to Japan?" asked Ellie, "Unless you have a portal there."
"We'll have to see if he will accept you first," said Morgana, "I wouldn't about it. Even old yokai have to move on with the times. You might meet other herms in his class. But should he accept, I think we could use the foreign student exchange program. Just a little magic to make the right people suggestible and it ought to be simple. I'm sure there are high school yokai who would be eager to come here."
"I don't suppose you could have both of us go," said Harper, hugging Ellie, "Not that I want to be a sumo, but I want to stay with Ellie."
"We'll have to see what can be arranged," said Morgana, "These kind of things can't be spun out of thin air at a moment's notice. It might take a few days at least. Besides, you'll want to get some cash together."
"How much cash?" asked Ellie with worry.
"Well, I'm not running a charity here and I'm sure the old kappa will be wanting his own pay," said Morgana, "But I'm sure it's nothing beyond your ability to pay. Selena, your pack ought to set up a group fund to be able to pay for things."
"Well, since Stella joined us, money shouldn't be that much of a problem," said Selena.
"Wait, Stella's a werehyena?" asked Harper.
"Didn't I mention it?" asked Selena, "Gee, I guess I was kinda rushing through things. I'll have to introduce you to the pack later."
