“Ugggggggh…..” Sam groaned as her eyes slowly fluttered open.
She felt Colin’s hand resting against the side of her face as he slowly got her to her feet.
“Is she up yet, I’m starving!!!!!” Lucy whined.
“Not soooo loooooud…”” Sam groaned.
The blonde Amazon groggily looked around the room, greeted by glaring eyes and folded arms.
“What?” Sam asked.
“Oh nothing, just stranded in a parking lot thanks to you.” Angela scowled.
“W-What?” Sam said as she looked out the windows.
They were parked at a Walmart.
“What happened?” Sam asked.
“Oh just you getting absolutely wasted, starting a bar fight, wasting all of Colin and Marinette’s money, got us chased by a biker gang, you know, drunk you stuff.” Lucy said.
“I’m sorry, you guys, I got way carried away and-“ Sam started.
“Save it.” Marinette huffed, “We managed to find this parking lot and call roadside assistance.”
The RV was pulled away by a tow truck as Sam slumped back into her seat with her face in her hands.
“For the rest of this trip, Colin’s ordering your food… AND there will be NO more alcohol.” Angela asserted.
“But-“ Sam started.
Her harem sisters shot daggers at her, making her slouch back in seat.

Sam quietly sat and sipped her styrofoam cup of free coffee as Colin talked to the mechanic. She shyly waved to the others as they sat around playing Mario Party. They scowled and turned away.
“I’ll be outside…” Sam glumly sighed as she left the building.
She sulked on a bench as a little kid starting smacking her in the head with a plastic princess wand.
In between the snacks, Sam said “I deserve that… I deserve that too… that too… that also…”
“Sam?!” A voice called out.
“April!!!” Sam yelled as she ran up and hugged her friend.
“Woah, easy there!” April chuckled.
“What are you doing here, I thought you’d be on patrol back in Lakeside?” Sam asked.
“My grandma fell down the stairs… how’s the trip going?” April asked.
Sam sighed, “I really messed it up, April…”
“Just sit down and tell me everything…” April asked.
************************************************
“Okay ladies, the RV’s ready to roll!” Colin called out.
“Finally!!!” Lucy sighed, “Let’s go round up drunky and get out of here…”
They stopped halfway through the parking lot and hear someone crying.
“Sam?” Colin called out.
It was a crazy sight, seeing someone as strong and stubborn as Sam just bawl her eyes out.
“It just feels like I always have to keep everybody else happy and I’m bad at iiiiit!!!”
“Hey, hey, hey Sammy… breathe… breathe… breathe…” April said as she ran her hand down her friend’s back, “easy…”
“I’m just tired of pretending that everything’s easy…” Sam sniffled, “I’m tired of pretending that I’ve got everything under control…”
“I’m sure sure those two’ll stop fighting once they really get to know each other….” April sighed.
Sam wiped her nose on April’s sleeve and jumped back as her friends showed up.
“The… RV’s… you know…” Lucy nervously stammered.
“We can go now…” Marinette added.
“I’m sorry about ruining the trip…” Sam sighed.
“It’s fine, Sam.” Colin said as he held her, “We still have plenty of money, it’s gonna be smooth sailing from here…”
“Promise?” Sam asked.
“Promise.” Colin said as he hugged her.
“Hold up there, bub!!!” April shouted as she grabbed Colin by the ear, “You too!”
She held Angela up by her shirt collar.
“You two had better get your coworker and your roommate to calm the fuck down, got it?!” she growled.
“Y-Yes ma’am…” they stammered as April gave Sam one last hug and stormed off.
There was nothing but silence as the five of them piled into the RV and drove away…
Unbeknownst to them, a motorcycle revved up and drove alongside them.
