She kept herself distracted to try and avoid sleep. She mainly stared at the clock, watching the time and distracting her from the warm, comfortable bed she was tucked into. The time kept going... and going... and going...
...She waited until 11PM. Hollie's bedtime was at ten, but waiting the extra hour ensured she'd be asleep. Each minute after 10:15PM Jenny thought about getting up and doing it, but she insisted on waiting a bit longer, even if it was more risk of falling asleep.
She kept waiting patiently for the time to arrive... and when it did, she got up out of her teen-sized bed, and sleepily went to her door. She was a bit shaky, and had a bit of trouble walking straight, but continued on.
She walked through the dark hallway, Hollie having turned the lights off earlier, over to where Hollie's room was...
