As Selena sprinted down the hall, she spotted a very familiar mop of red hair and slab of amazonian muscle beneath it. It was the one member of the girls' basketball team that she hadn't planned on inviting into her new pack: her sister Diana Lyall! And she was walking straight toward Selena!
Selena froze in fear. What did Diana want? Had her family found out about the werehyena pack? Selena bit her lip as Diana came bounding up to her.
"Hey, dweeb!" Diana said cheerfully. "Just wanted to say the school smells super weird today. Almost like an entire extra pack of werebeasts just showed up and made themselves at home here." Diana suddenly stiffened. Without warning, she pressed her nose against Selena and began to sniff her. "The fuck?! You're... you smell like you're one of them!" She took an extra long sniff. "A werehyena, to be exact. Kinky!"
Selena hung her head in shame. "I... I'm really, really sorry I..."
Before Selena could finish, Diana jovially headlocked Selena and ruffled her red hair. "Congrats, sis! You're a REAL magical now! Guess that explains why you're so damn ripped and hairy all of a sudden! You and me, we're total equals now, two weres who can look look each other straight in the eye. Don't know why I didn't smell it sooner."
"Probably because my odor was drowned out by the scents of all those other werewolves on the ranch," Selena theorized.
"Probably," said Diana. "Anyway, what's the story?"
"You basically know it began," said Selena. "I was an outsider in my own pack. I was everyone's omega, even yours. It was like I didn't have a single friend within the pack, even within my own family. I fucking hated it! I hated everyone telling me I didn't matter."
Diana's eyes went wide. "You're talkin' about me just as much as you are about Luna or Mom and Dad, aren't you? Did I really make you feel that way?"
Selena rolled her eyes. "Di, you may be a great warrior and a basically nice person, but you are DENSE! Well, slow in the uptake, anyway. Did you really think calling me your sidekick and all that other teasing crap was going to make me feel better about the shit Luna or Mom or Dad were saying? It didn't. It sorta reinforced it."
Diana's eyes softened. "Moon, Selena, I'm sorry. It's gonna be different now. I promise as a fellow seed of the Moon."
Selena smiled weakly. "Thanks, Di. You always were the least bad of my relatives. Anyway, I felt like I'd never belong, so my friend Tatiana (you know, the vampire girl Mom and Luna can't stand) brought me to a store she frequents. It's called Morgana's Services for the Strange, and it's run by this witch. She sold me this thing called the Werebrush. If you brush an animal and then your own hair with it on the night of the full moon, you'll become the matching type of werebeast.
"Well, Tats and I went to the zoo and brushed a hyena. (Vampire mesmerism can be so damn useful.) After that was done, I wanted to start my own pack. One problem: I wanted to start sooner than the next full moon. So Morgana sells me this little beauty called the Ring of Embraces. If I wear it around my hyenaform's cock shaft, anyone I cum into will shift into a new werehyena. I'm actually planning to transform a bunch of your teammates after basketball practice. You can watch if you like, now that I know we're on the same side."
"That'd rock!" said Diana. "I'd fucking FINALLY be able to tell them all I'm a werewolf! Can't wait to see what they all look like as scumptious hyena dickgirls." Diana suddenly turned uncharacteristically serious. "Mom and Dad can NEVER know you're doing this, Selena. Luna either. Shaman Fenris, maybe. He's a good guy. But nobody else! Our parents'd see this as nothing but you trying to run away from home and pathetically play alpha."
"Don't worry, Di," said Selena. "I'm trying to be smart about this. I'm not letting anybody in the pack know until we're a fully established pack with dozens of members and fully settled territory."
"Smart," said Diana. "Oh! I just remembered! Beck's mom called today about catching a glimpse of Beck being all furry and jizzing on the mirror or something. She told Mom she thought it might be connected to you. Also, there's a hunter coming to investigate Beck soon. Be BERY careful. I wanna have time to be a better sister."
"I promise," said Selena. "Don't worry. I know you're a good sister."
Diana blushed. "Heh, thanks. I... I'll try to live up to that kind of faith. Well... I got Spanish class coming up now. Bye!" With that, the redheaded sisters parted ways for the moment.
"Bye!" Selena called back as she darted towards the gym. "See you with the rest of the team after basketball practice!"
