The principal entered the room. "Am I interrupting anything?" She asked.
"We were just discussing who was going to watch the class pet." Miss Mona explained.
"Alright." Principal Colt told her. "If you don't mind, I would like to make an announcement." With Miss Mona's consent, she continued.
"It would seem that the popularity of this class has skyrocketed since Miss Mona has taken over. Not only that, but the grades you have been making is remarkable compared to before and we even have less referrals school wide"
Miss Mona briefly remembered how she made sure the more troublesome students played the roll of art in their projects, with a few exceptions.
"With all of these improvements, I have asked her to extend her stay, which she agreed."
The previous teacher, Lilly River would probably enjoy having her break extended. She briefly wondered if she was enjoying her stay, and whether or not she was doing a good job replacing Mona.
The principal kept talking. "The main purpose of her staying is to help with a school festival" The entire class got excited. Tabbie mewed petulantly to let everyone know what she thought of the idea.
"There is only a limited number of spots in the class, and even with the recent openings we can't transfer students in this late in the semester. This festival will give everyone a chance to participate in some of your activities as well as give us a great chance to have a fundraiser."
Everyone cheered. Miss Mona smiled. This was turning our much better the she had anticipated when she first made the deal.
Principal Colt pulled out a list. "This is a list of suggestions from some clubs, but none of these things are required. Your class will be in charge of everything, but the suggestions have come from people who have already volunteered to take part in these activities. Let's see....
1: A piņata stand where you can purchase the cheerleader of your choice
2: a haunted house and maze combo where those who do not find their way out join the decor. It was recommended to have Jade hanging out front
3: Finally a planting ceremony for Erica, and anyone else wanting to join her in our new garden.
If you can think of anything to add, please feel free to so. As well, if there is something that seems too difficult, you can veto it. Any ideas?
"How about a petting zoo where students and visitors join the zoo?" Josh suggested and he scratched Tabbie's chin.
"Remeber when Daniel got punished?" A girl called out. "What if we had a playset where people can revisit their childhood?"
Miss Mona barely had time to write the ideas down as kids called things out. They really knew how to make a teacher proud.
