Ellie Rubenstein shuffled into the commons, eyes downcast. She was wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a tank top she'd borrowed from her little sister. She wrapped her arms protectively around her skinny tummy as she fought back tears.
Taylor waved. "Hi there, Ellie! Rough day?"
Ellie walked over to Taylor and Jinx's table, sniffling. "Yeah. I... I just hate being seen in public like this."
Taylor scratched the back of her neck. As the pack's shaman, she figured she should provide Ellie with some kind of guidance. Too bad her mind was blanking. "Uh, you know," she said at last, "most of the school probably thinks you look hotter this way. Man, Monique Robinson WISHES she had a body like that!"
"She can HAVE it!" Ellie vented. "I know most of mu classmates think I'm beautiful. Just half an hour ago, Jennifer Gibson complimented me for ditching the 'Winnie-the-Pooh look,' as she called it. "Don't worry, Ellie," Taylor said, putting a comforting hand on Ellie's shoulder. "Kyūri Sensei'll get you your wobbly ol' potbelly back in no time, and it'll make the biggest muffin top ever! And until then, we'll do everything to make you as comfortable in that skinny body as possible."
Ellie laughed. "It really is skinny, isn't it? I look like a muscular toothpick."

Ellie smiled awkwardly. "Heh, yeah. But admit it, Harper; you miss my big, comfy belly, too."
"Can't deny I wish all those soft curves were back," said Harper. "And that tummy was best damn pillow I ever had. But until you can get your padding back, your body's still got a lot of great features."
"Delicious-smelling blood, for instance," Jinx said, letting her vampiric fangs extend to full length. "I can promise you, vampire bites are erotic as hell!"

"Wish I knew some remedies for that," said Taylor. "That's the kind of thing a REAL shaman would know about. Oh well, maybe someday. I guess Morgana could always help with that. Hey, that'd give me good opportunity to meet Vivi and see if we mesh okay." She idly ran a finger

Ellie rubbed her fingers over the place where her jaw met her ears, feeling a smattering of whiskery hairs there. "This is so cool!" Ellie proclaimed. "I always wanted to be hairy!" A wicked grin crossed her face. "Hmmm... who wants to see how hairy I am under my clothes?"
