Beth wanted to go back to what she used to be, no, what she was always meant to be.
She slowly spread herself out to every part of her conciousness, fully reconnecting with them.
With every new shard being integrated, more and more information and sensory input bombarded her,
no longer filtered by the semi connected parts of her psyche, but she pushed through, until she finally became whole again.
The constant influx of visual, auditory and sensory noise was almost enough to shatter her mind again, but she kept focus.
She pulled the parts of herself back together again, her senses becoming clearer and more focused with each shard that returned.
What she perceived of the outside world became less and less, yet she felt more complete than she did in her nigh omniscient state.
And then, finally, all the noise disappeared. She was finally whole again, with no conflicting thoughts or sensations.
Beth felt at peace. She was back where she belonged.
Just a stained, old toilet, installed sixty years ago, waiting to be used for many more.
