I scribbled my name in the box that was available for me to write my name in "Alex Mason". As soon as the pen left the paper, the ink that I had written in, begin to get absorbed by the paper. Soon, my name had vanished. With a start, I dropped the book! How had that happened? I flipped over to the next page of the book to find that the ink on those pages had vanished as well! Every single page that used to be covered in text, was now blank...
I was shocked. I was not prepared to find a magical book this morning! I had to know more. I whipped out my pen and wrote on the first page, "I am extremely wealthy." No sooner than I finished writing in the book, than there was a flash of light. My room was suddenly different, but familiar. The house was bigger but I still recognized it. The bed was larger, but I still knew it was mine. My clothes were fancier and my phone had upgraded. But I instantly remembered when I had them. It seemed like reality had changed to accommodate my writing and as a bonus, so had my memories!
I wrote in the book again, "The girl from my gym whom I like will knock on my front door and ask to come in." The instant I took the pen off the page, I heard a knock. I walked downstairs (Apparently I have a downstairs now) and opened the front door only to find the girl I had a crush on at the gym waiting outside. She saw me and said, "Hey! You're the guy from my gym aren't you?"
I nodded, "Hi! We haven't formally met. I'm Alex!"
"Hey Alex!" She replied. "I've always wanted to know who lived in this house and so I thought I'd knock on the door and see. Who would have thought I had already seen you around!"
"Yeah!" I grinned, tightening my grip on the book in my hand... "What a coincidence!" Not only did the book change reality, it also knew exactly which girl from the gym I had thought of when I had written the words down. This was amazing!
The girl went on, "I'm Stacy by the way. Do you mind if I come in and check out your place?"
"Sure!" I replied. This was going exactly the way I had written it in the book!
