Humanity never tires of trying to break down barriers and go where most believe is impossible. Whether it's the depths of the ocean or the ends of space, several studies are done and very little is discovered, not to mention that they can't achieve anything in these places and it's still a great effort to do what they already know.
Far from the media's eyes, in a secret military laboratory, a team of scientists are hard at work looking for a way to break the time barrier and thus make time travel possible. Several theories have already been discarded and experiments that came to nothing were done, even so they never gave up and a new test is carried out in which a new machine created would try to open a type of portal that linked to some other time. This last experiment also went wrong, but unlike the others, this was the first one that came closer to something, but an accident occurred that could ruin everything.
The device was turned on and a distortion appeared in the expected space in the middle of the machine, distortion that increased and something like a ring began to form, but the equipment did not support it and some circuits burned, which caused a malfunction and the portal that it formed, it spiraled out of control, spreading and rapidly closing in a great explosion.
The time machine prototype was practically destroyed, but now there was no one else in the laboratory, as everyone was sucked into the 'explosion'. No one died or was seriously injured, but they had been thrown into a strange dimension into which they had scattered, and when they finally made it out of this dimension each had the same two questions in mind: "Where I am?" and "When I am?"
Of those in the lab you are...
