Gabrielle had a problem: for a lesbian, she wasn't very lesbian. Gabrielle's one lesbian trait was that she wanted sex with other women rather than with men. Sure, that was the most important trait, but she would've liked at least one or two others. And yet Gabrielle had never been able to so much as cut her long blonde hair short or grow out her pubes.
Most other lesbians Gabrielle knew questioned if she even WAS a dyke like them. Being butch would make it much easier for Gabrielle to get dates, but that wasn't the only reason she wanted to make the change. Butches were just so damn COOL! They radiated badass energy, and it made Gabrielle so jealous. Maybe this store had something that could get this poor girly femme into the butch spirit.
Gabrielle walked in and was greeted by Summer, the cashier of the Magic Shop who starred in the shop commercials for promotional offers. "Welcome to the Magic Shop," Summer said cheerfully. "How can I help you?"
"I'm here to learn how to be a better lesbian," Gabrielle said sheepishly.
"Define 'better'," Summer said.
"Less girly," Gabrielle said. "I want to be butch."
"There's no wrong way to be a lesbian, you know," Summer said, slightly offended. "I'm bi myself, and I'm pretty darn feminine."
Gabrielle blushed. "Oh, I'm so sorry! I put that horribly! It's just... being butch feels like the right way to be lesbian for ME. I'm just really drawn to being a tomboyish diesel dyke, but there's this glitch in my brain forcing me to be girly. I need something to make me the badass butch I know I am deep down."
Summer's face went back to its usual smile. "Oh, that's perfectly okay. I get customers with requests just like yours all the time. Not just during Pride Month either. We get shy customers wanting to be extroverted, extroverted customers wanting to be shy bimbos wanting to be nerds, nerds wanting to be bimbos, you name it! I think I know just what you need."
