Jen jolted awake after a particularly nasty charley horse. Her legs felt different and after a second to contemplate it she remembered why.
She shut her eyes and with a trembling hand touched her leg.
She was met with short soft hair. Her hand pulled back in shock.
“i-i-it’s true! The curse is real!” she said to herself as tears started to fall down her face; this devolved into hysterical sobbing. As her hands carefully ran across her warm equine half, she didn’t want to see herself but she needed an idea of her body.
It was completely dark in her room telling her she has been out all day, but that didn’t matter, as she really didn’t want to actually see how much of a freak she was at this moment.
As she reached back she noticed 2 things, first she was not a massive horse, in fact she felt rather diminutive; not like a pony but probably slightly under sized for an average horse; she guessed if she stood up she would stand about 5’11 to 6’4 This did little to stop her crying but it helped give her an idea of her overall size now.
And second she was significantly more flexible as she was easily able to reach her flank and tail with little effort she couldn’t lay on her back but she shouldn’t have any issues reaching anything she needed to with little effort. This wasn’t so much a happy thought as a disconcerting one causing more tears to be shed.
She just lay on her floor crying in the dark. Until she tired herself out.
Now at a quite whimper, laying there on her floor her door opened and light from the hallway filtered in blinding her temporarily…
