As soon as her eyes were open Clara knew she must have messed up the potion. There was no other way to explain why she found herself looking at a kindergartener that must actually be her grandmother laying on the living room floor watching cartoons.
Of course the fact that sight was also through the side of a mesh playpen helped. Speaking of which Clara figured it was time to actually look at herself. She had a suspicion of what she'd find already.
A correct suspicion as she found she was in fact a baby dressed in nothing but a diaper. The cup she had drank the potion from had been replaced with a sippy cup of juice which Clara thoughtlessly brought to her lips.
As she sucked the juice from the cup with ease, Clara knew she should be more alarmed by the situation. After all she had obviously made the potion at double strength. Which meant that instead of 50 and 10 she and her "grandmother" were now 5 and 1. And that would mean reality must have been adjusted way beyond her intended scope.
But she was struggling to see why that was such a big deal. What was the difference between 10 and 1 anyway? 10 year olds were bigger and didn't wear diapers...what did that mean happened when they need to make a boom boom again?
She couldn't recall that. Or what the difference between school and daycare was. Playdates were basically the same thing as those sleepy thingies she had just been thinking about right? No that didn’t make sense those had to be big kid nap time.
While she continued trying to sort through her reorganized mind, Clara heard the sound of someone approaching the playpen. It was...
