Scott, not being a believer in the friendly text adorning the cover of the Hitchhiker's Guide, panics. He's lost, so utterly lost, and instead of following any of the advice one often gets when lost, does the exact opposite and began running in what he thought was the direction of the entrance.
In a store like this, however, quick movement isn't necessarily the wisest of decisions. Aisles start and stop seemingly at random, sometimes parallel to each other, other times coming to a cross aisle and continuing left and right. Still though, rational thought has clearly not won the day and he bolts here and there, trying to find any clue on how he could exit the labyrinthine extra-dimensional retail establishment.
And, much like a bull in a china shop, velocity eventually has its due.
Scott turns a corner, sprinting full speed, and turns straight into a shelf that he was not expecting to be there. Items crash down around him, but one item in particular crashes *into* him...
