This is too weird, even for you. But...you're curious. And a bit grumpy that you were dragged into this without any information.
"Look, just because you guys take cosplaying to the next level, doesn't mean I wanted to be a monster for four years! How am I supposed to go home like this, let alone school?" you snarl, ready to have a go at your new clubmates.
"Aww, don't be such a worry-wart, 'Ru-ru!'" Illucy giggles as she hovers around. You bare your fangs at her in response, but she gives you a look like you are a cute kitten with its fur standing on end.
"Whoa, hang on there, citizen! Just give me a moment to explain," Powerhouse says in an deep voice, then reaches for Priya's shirt. As you watch, the enormous muscular arm of Powerhouse enters the sleeve, and before your eyes, the person standing there is now Priya, although under the shirt she is still wearing the costume of Powerhouse, which now fits her small frame.
"As you can see, all you have to do is put your regular clothes on, and the effects of the suit disappear," Priya says, walking over to the room where your clothes are and tossing your shirt to you. Skeptical, you squint at her, but tentatively stick your huge clawed hand into your shirt sleeve, trying hard not to rip it. However, before you realize it, suddenly you are standing there in your original form wearing the Halloween horror-show of a suit under your undamaged shirt. Somehow, while the suit looked like it had more bulk on the hanger, it fits your frame perfectly, to the point where it would not be seen under your shirt. Even the hood with the ears has rolled back and fits under the collar of your shirt, and the sleeves and gloves have disappeared up your shirt sleeves. It's incredible, but no less incredible than everything you've seen so far.
"I...how..." you stutter.
"As you might have guessed, the suits are not exactly normal. They have a pretty big effect on us, even our personalities when wearing them," Priya continues, not surprised at your sudden inability to clearly express yourself. In fact, it is only at this point you realize how straightforward and aggressive you had been while inside the suit. Normally, you were not much of a talker, let alone someone who could yell and snap at others. Your discomfiture shows on your face.
"Don't worry, 'Ru-ru,' we'll have a great time!" Illucy bounces about grinning, at which point Priya sighs and chucks Lucian's shirt over her. In a moment, Lucian is standing there with a disgusted look on his face.
"'Ru-ru?'" You can't help but say.
"Don't even ask!" Lucian snaps, his cheeks red as beets, and slumps down in his chair. The Conductor is the only one left in its hero form, but shows no intention of putting on Tom's clothes. Rather, it seems engrossed in the data flowing by on multiple computer screens.
"Wait, if...if you change when you remove your clothes...how do you shower?" you blurt out as the thought comes to your head. Lucian gives you an even darker look.
"Well, Tom's situation is a bit special, but for us in human form, we can take our hero clothes off after we change...I just had to get used to showering as a large guy, and Lucian..." Priya trails off, and Lucian pretends that you don't even exist.
"But...I'm not human..." you realize.
"Yeah, but I think you can also take off the hero clothes just like we can, you just have to get used to showering while...a little furry...or maybe scaly?" Priya diplomatically replies.
