The woman blinked. She could have sworn she was somewhere else a few moments ago. But where? Everything before that first blink... there was nothing. She looked down at the fine dress, pushing her long, red hair out of her way. She was someone important, that was for sure. No-one would wear such an elaborate gown if they weren't important. For the first time, she examined her surroundings. She seemed to be outside some sort of palace. Thinking maybe they could help her to make sense of her confusion, she crossed towards the door. Two ceremonial guards stood at each side, but they don't stop her as she approaches, and knocks with the golden knocker in the shape of the royal crest.
The door opens, and a servant looks out. Her eyes widen, and she shuts the door again. The woman knocks again.
"Um, hello? I need help. Why did you shut the door on me?"
"Please wait a moment, my lady," said one of the guards "The royal house is not to be rushed."
She stopped talking. The title 'my lady' didn't seem right. Was she a lady? Was she important? It was just outside her perception
