The door opens again, and she is ushered inside.
"Apologies for keeping you waiting, your highness. I wished to believe you were who you said you were, but I did not believe it," the speaker was an elven maid with flowers and twigs woven through her long, blonde hair "Please forgive my rudeness, my lady."
"Um, that's fine," the woman with no name said, still very confused as she was led through the palace to a throne room. On entry, she was tackled by a ball of red and green and tears, as a much younger girl leapt at her, hugging her fiercely. The girl had similar features to the woman, and the same colour hair
"Big sister!" the younger girl yelled, still crying "I thought I'd never see you again."
The nameless woman hugged the younger girl, trying to reassure her, but nothing in her mind felt a connection to her supposed little sister.
An older woman stood from a chair at the other side of the room, and approached.
"Forgive me for this, Elenara, but I need to confirm it's you," said the older elven woman with a crown atop her head.
"I don't, um, know who you think I am, your highness," the woman said, as the presumed queen began casting a spell "But I can't be who you think I am. I don't remember anything."
A white light appeared in the queen's hand. "Well, this will give us an answer one way or another. Place your hand in the light."
As the woman with no name placed her hand in the light, the light turned green.
The queen nodded, her expression giving away nothing.
"Tia, can you show our guest to her room?" the Queen asked "I need to discuss some thing with your father."
The younger girl grabbed her hand, and led the nameless woman from the room. She was getting tired of referring to herself as the nameless woman. She'd either need to choose a name, or since everyone in the palace seemed to think she was their long lost princess, maybe she should just take the princess's name.
