Well, the security is probably pretty lax anyway. Plus, this is literally what you trained for, and what better way to show off your skills than here. You follow the right path and make your way to the city. With the daylight out, it’s a normal, bustling city full of merchants, townspeople, even a few farmers bringing their cattle through. You take to the roofs to get a better vantage point and survey the area with out being spotted. You notice something off and move in closer to inspect it, making sure to stay out of sight. Upon closer inspection, you see that a piece of paper is stuck to a wall just below a roof. You pull it out and inspect it, realizing that the informant had been leaving you clues as well. You decide to spend a few extra minutes to see if there are any other clues hiding in the city.
The city is quite large, it takes you an hour to scour the entire area for other clues. You found three scraps of paper that seem vague, but no doubt piece together with something else to give you something interesting. The sun is beginning to set, so you make preparations to leave. Just before you hop over the city gates to leave, a twinkle catches your eye, so you go down and examine it. Seemingly unguarded is a suspiciously decorative pendant with a large ruby rock where the picture would go. It looks expensive, and is probably not missed by anyone here considering its location.
