Marshall’s tummy rumbled. He was hungry. The odds of finding something he could eat weren’t the greatest, but he could feel himself about to cry from hunger, so he was going to do his best. He toddled around the nursery, looking in various boxes and drawers. Finally, he found something.
There was a box of single servings of applesauce and bottles of juice. Marshall quickly looked to check the expiration date. However, the regression had become too severe. He couldn’t differentiate between the symbols for the expiration date and the words on the box, let alone interpret what the numbers meant.
His tummy rumbled again. Deciding to roll the dice, Marshall grabbed one of the applesauce containers and ripped it open, devouring it with his hands. It took two more for him to be fully satiated. Once he finished eating, he then guzzled two bottles of some sort of purple juice. He wasn’t sure what kind of juice it was, but it was tasty.
Marshall let out a loud belch. The noise was accompanied by a spurt of pee into his diaper. He checked his diaper. It didn’t need to be changed just yet. He yawned. The events of the day were beginning to catch up with him. He looked around. There was a pile of blankets on the floor. It didn’t look super comfortable, but it seemed better than trying to climb into the crib.
After popping into his mouth a pacifier he had found in his search for food, Marshall crawled into the pile of blankets. He even had a teddy bear he had also found in his search. Snuggling the bear, Marshall fell asleep quickly.
