As Marshall walked down the hall, he could feel his fear rising. When he’d made his way to the nursery for clothes, he hadn’t felt nearly as nervous. Putting on his current clothes really had changed him. He had his adult mind still, but was reacting to things the same way a toddler would and apparently could only speak the same way a toddler would.
Without him noticing what he was doing, Marshall’s thumb made its way to his mouth. He gradually became less scared as he determinedly sucked on his thumb for comfort. There was a clap of thunder. Marshall jumped. To his horror, he felt urine begin to enter his diaper. He clenched his muscles in a desperate attempt to avoid fully wetting himself, but couldn’t stop. In a matter of seconds, his diaper was soaked.
“Damn,” he muttered. Not only was the wet diaper uncomfortable, but he had heard that diapers needed to be changed quickly, or risk diaper rash. Wearing a diaper was bad enough. He didn’t need a diaper rash on top of that. With a sigh, Marshall turned around and went back to the nursery. On the way, he felt a pressure in his abdomen.
Well, he was going to have to change his diaper anyways. Marshall squatted in the middle of the hallway and began to push. Promptly, his bowels emptied into his diaper. He straightened, horrified at what he had done. Had he really just messed himself just because he was going to get a change soon?
The load in his diaper caused him to waddle even more than the diaper alone had, slowing his pace. But he soon arrived at the nursery. Marshall made a beeline for the changing table and grabbed the necessary supplies. He removed his clothes and dirty diaper, then laid on his back to wipe himself down and put on a fresh diaper. The change was clumsy and slow, but he eventually finished. He sat up.
Marshall glanced at the open door. There was another clap of thunder. Terror coursed through his veins. Marshall jumped to his feet and closed the door, deciding to spend the night in the nursery. He could get back to work in the morning. Under his current circumstances, he was too scared and unskilled to get much of anything done.
Marshall looked around the nursery, wondering what to do now.
