Jake's craft enters the atmoscarge violently shaking from second-hand motion dampers as Jake looked for a spot to land their scouting ship that was screaming warnings at him with every passing minute.
He eventually finds a spot on the oddly moist isle far from the jelly-like waves. He lands barely in time as 5 feet off the ground the main power stops, dropping the spacecraft to the ground making it bound a few times before coming to a stop. Scaring the crap out of the independent contractor for a few minutes before he got out of the cockpit to see what was the damage.
Some of the jerry-rigging finally gave way to the power core, meaning bringing out the solar 3d printer and the drop added another crack to the fuel tanks to the point where you have to print that too. At least the portable fuel converter is intact. Being that Jake is right next to the sea, he just needs to filter out the sait...and whatever that pinkish purple jelly is. Overall he’s looking for at least a week or two of repairs.
The isles seem to be composed with different kinds of jellies, ozoos, and goo, some taking on the shapes of tropical trees and fauna. jake wonders about the ship having to put in the effort with each step to get onto the bench.
To the west is the sea with a thick layer of pinkish-purple jelly, breaking up enough onto the yellowish goo like sand to be set free.
To the north 10 to 15 minutes walk (under normal conditions) looks to be an old seaside house, completely covered in goo similar color to the rusted metal and plastics that it was made out of hundreds of years ago.
To the south looks to be an old hovercraft also covered in the odd goo that has taken over the isle.
