Max led you into the house on your leash, passing through the kitchen he shows you a bowl on the floor with CRIMSON written on it.
"Here's your very own bowl Crimson. Whenever you need water, you can always find it here!"
Too excited to drink, you pull on the lead, eager to see the rest of your new domain. Taking the hint, Max led you through the house and into the back garden. Immediately you noticed cave taking up the bottom half of the garden. Smiling when he saw you'd noticed it, Max bent down and undid the leash, letting you run to your new home. Entering the small cave with trepidation, you sniffed and walked around, taking in all the new smells and sounds.
After a few minutes of this, you settled down, curling up into a ball in the middle of the cave. [I think I'll be quite happy here! Max has really pulled out the stops to get this all set up for me!] Be it the excitement from moving, the natural laziness of a dragon or some other force that was behind the changes, you suddenly felt really sleepy. Closing your eyes, the dragon was quickly snoring in no time...
---
You awoke with a start the next morning. There was an odd pressure in your lower body. Standing up on all fours and looking down, you couldn't see anything different. The pressure kept increasing and you felt the need to push, so push you did. The pressure increased and increased until -pop- it was gone. Feeling slightly out of breath, you looked down again to see what had happened. There was an egg. [An egg? What the heck? I'm a girl dragon now] you roared.
Max came rushing out to see if his new pet was ok. "Hey Crimson, hey girl, what's got you so upset this morning? I know it's a scary new place to be living, but I thought you'd like your cav...oh wow, you laid your first egg. Great! I've been wanting to try dragon egg for years!" Max grabbed the egg, rubbing you on the head, as he quickly turned and ran back to the kitchen. [He didn't even notice that I'm a girl now! Then again, no-one has ever noticed the other changes that have been happening to me]
Deciding you needed to follow Max, you started walking towards the kitchen, only noticing you're now walking naturally on all 4 legs when you entered the kitchen. [Hmm, 2 changes this time...] You saw Max's father sitting at the table, smiling eagerly as Max stood over the stove, stirring a pan of some kind. "I told you Scarlet was a good buy dad - dragon eggs from day 1. You won't regret this, I've heard they're the best money can buy!"
Sitting in the corner watching as Max finished cooking and plated up your egg, you weren't sure how you felt about effectively being livestock to them now. A pet, yes, but Max's main interest at the moment seemed to be what he could get from you. That wasn't the Max you remembered. The friend who wanted to adopt you as his live in pet buddy.
You felt slightly sickened as you saw them start to eat your produce. Your body felt a sudden longing for the egg that it had lost. [That's just disturbing. A maternal instinct maybe? I remember reading that dragons were meant to be unwaveringly loyal] You turned and fled back to the cave, deciding you needed some alone time.
