“Finally!” Eileen said, “well well,” she started, scanning her way around the room, “well the way the game really begins is by picking who the first to change is!” She stated, “so go ahead! Choose!”
Everyone looked at each other,
“W-we have to pick someone?” Sofia asked, “like… collectively?” She asked,
“Yep!” Eileen continued, “the first change is always unknown, but you all have to pick someone. If you don’t pick anyone, then you’re voting at yourself,”
“Can we discuss it first?” Jacob asked,
“Sure,” Eileen said, “but you only have thirty seconds!”
“Oh shit!” Bianca said, realising the urgency of the situation, “okay, does anyone want to be changed and is willing to take one for the team?” She asked. No one accepted, “alright, personally I think we should all vote for… uhm…”
“I’ll do it,” Isabella chimed in. Everyone looked at her suddenly,
“Izzy, are you sure?” Jacob asked,
“Yeah, she said it’s harmless, and I’m happy to just… deal with whatever happens,” she said, “plus, who says it’ll be that bad!” She assured everyone,
“Ready to vote?” Eileen asked. Everyone nodded awkwardly, “great! Three, two, one!”
Everybody pointed at Isabella, including herself.
Eileen looked at her, her eyes began to glow. Isabella braced herself for whatever changes may take place…
“I’m kidding,” Eileen said, “I just wanted to show you all how the system works!” she assured. Everyone looked clueless, “now that you all get it, the first ACTUAL change is going to be ‘bigger feet!’”
Everyone looked around at each other, not exactly sure what to until Eileen simply shouted,
“Three, two, one, POINT!”
