'Aaron Shade,' I wrote into the book. The letters glowed bright followed by page itself and the rest of the pages inside the book. "That is...surprising," I muttered blinking slightly after the glow faded. The thought that this book might be magical appeals to me now and makes me want to write more. Maybe something small just to make sure it's real but the thought of writing something big is tempting. Of course, I need to make sure that no one notices so something small will have to do.
Sitting in my dorm, there's not much inspiration I can use for my first change. Henry, my roommate was at the gym working out and that gave me plans for some changes in mind for later if this book is real. He's really nice and sometimes helps with my assignments, he's also a sexy hunk which is a bonus. He also told me that he has a cute dog back home. He had showed me a picture of an adult Border Collie sleeping in its bed.
With the book open in my hands I begin to write, 'Ebonybridge College allows their students to bring pets into the dorms. There is a vet clinic nearby for pets as well as a store for buying pet necessities.' The letters glowed again after lifting the pen and immediately I hear the sound of soft snoring nearby. I look up and see Spots, Henry's dog sleeping in his dog bed.
"How cute." I smiled seeing the sleeping dog before my eyes widened as I realized that it worked. I look back down at the book and think, "Hmm...you actually work...but how much can you do?" Thoughts and ideas begin to brew inside my head before I shake them off and take a deep breath. And idea stuck out to me and I wonder if it works. 'In 1 minute, a stray husky will start scratching at the door wanting to be let in.' I wait for exactly 1 minute before I start to hear scratching. I blink and get up before walking over to the door and opening it.
"Oof!" I let out as a dog jumped onto my chest sending me to the floor. I sit up and see a husky with no collar around his neck. "I guess you're the one." I chuckle as he sits in front of me with his tail wagging. Looking at him, the husky's fur is ruffles and slightly dirty and he seems to be looking at me intently.
"Um..you want me to adopt you?" I questioned confused as he stayed there. Tilting his head to the side, he let out a bark before jumping onto my face and sending down to the ground again. "H-Hey! Cut it out!" I laughed as he was licking all over my face. I guess I have a new pet now and honestly it's gonna be fun.
