“Wait!” Brad said. “Before you say anything, think very carefully about the power you now have. You can create and destroy realities as quickly as you can type. I tried to make my life better by improving your mother and…well, no regrets there. But we changed your boyfriend into your girlfriend, and I inadvertently made you a sex-obsessed lesbian. Meiko rolled her eyes. “Don’t you get it? From my point of view, Shannon and I have always been this way. I’ve always been an only child. You sound like a crazy person who is trying to turn me into some heteronormaitve Barbie doll fantasy child of yours. I…” A thought crossed her mind.

Brad tested the limits of Meiko’s control by adding a slight variant: We are aware of all changes made to reality. When he hit enter, he realized that he had some ability to make changes within the parameters Meiko had laid out for him.
Unfortunately, because of the nature of the command, Meiko was immediately aware of the loophole, too.
“Oh, thought you could pull a fast one? I’m disappointed in you, Dad. So listen carefully. I want you to type the following command in exactly as I say it.”
Tears were forming in Brad’s eyes as he typed his daughter’s command. He understood the full ramifications of the changes he was about to make.
I am fully supportive of Meiko’s goals and ambitions, and I share them with a passion equal to hers. Every command I type must be to fulfill her desires and make her better and happier. These commands cannot be altered or changed by this program or any other means of reshaping reality.
