"Mom you can't be serious. I have plans," Kyle groaned.
"Yes, I'm serious. I haven't seen my sister in a long time and I said you and her daughter could play while we caught up," His mother Cassandra responded.
"I'm 17 mom I don't 'play' anymore."
"I don't want to hear it young man. I told you what is going to happen, so I expect you'll be on your best behavior."
Kyle rolled his eyes and stomped off. No doubt to tell his friends about how horrible his mother was. For her part, she's had enough of his attitude lately. He used to be such a sweet and helpful boy. Now all he did was whine and pout.
Thankfully the ringing of the doorbell told her the solution had arrived. After retrieving the package from the porch, she opened it and read through the instructions. If this thing was half as effective as it said she'd have her pleasant child back by morning.
Later that night after Kyle was asleep, she slipped in and set up the innocuous looking device. With it running quietly in the background, Cassandra took advantage of her son's heavy sleeping to do some rearranging.
