While Jeff is pondering over what to do, the phone in the kitchen starts to ring, he then hears his mother answering the phone. After a few moments, he hears his mother call for him, “JEFF, TODD IS ON THE PHONE.”
Jeff lets out a groan, “every time when I am in the middle of something important,” he mumbles to himself, before calling, “ON MY WAY.” He takes one last look at the screen, then with a sigh he get up from his seat and hurries out of his room.
Five minutes go by, and Jeff has not jet returned, when his 10-year-old brother “Jared” enters his room. “Jeff won't mind if I'd borrow ten Dollars,” the young boy mumbles to himself, “he won't even notice them missing, and I need the money more than he does.” So Jared starts to search all over Jeff's room, he looks in every place he knows Jeff normally hides or staches cash. After searching everywhere and not finding any cash, Jared lets out a disappointed sigh, he is about to leave the room, when his attention gets caught by Jeff's laptop, which is still running. Looking closer, Jared notices a strange program running, he looks closer, “Jeff got himself a new game,” he asks himself, “no wonder I could not find any money.” Jared just stands there for a while, thinking about to have a closer look at the game or if he should leave. While thinking, the young boy hears Jeff still talking on the phone, 'knowing Jeff, it'll take at least another hour before he ends the call,' he thinks to himself, 'he won't mind if I try out the game, I'll just create a own slot.' So Jared sits down at Jeff's laptop and opens the manual, “hu? A game that supposedly is able to transform people, animals and objects into various stuff,” he asks himself as he reads through the manual, “most be some kind of sci-fi-game.”
Jared returns to the main screen and notices a folder which is labeled “Jeff”, “looks like Jeff already created a slot for himself,” he mumbles to himself. Looking at the screen, Jared notices an empty box above Jeff's folder, he assumes that it is to a saving slot, so he types in “Jared Rules The World,” and hits enter, assuming that the game will start, but nothing happens, not even a new folder appears. Jared scowls, “stupid ass game,” he mutters and decides to just leave and return to his room.
Returning to his room, Jared is stopped by his mother, “Jared, your room is a mess,” she says sternly, “I have told you two days ago to tidy it.”
Jared grumbles under his breath, “yeah, yeah,” he says, and continues on to his room. The young boy stops in his door way, staring at the mess, the floor covered in left overs of food, dirty clothing, toys and lots more. “I hate tidying my room,” he mutters to himself, and without thinking he adds, “tidying my room should be Jeff's job, I have better things to do.” The young boy lets out a sigh, “before I get grounded... AGAIN, I should better do as told,” he then kneels down and starts to grab items off the floor.
Suddenly he hears running footsteps and a moment later Jeff hurries into his room, “sorry, sorry, sorry,” he says and to Jared's surprise he starts to grab stuff of off the floor.
“What the hell, Jeff,” Jared asks, the boy sounding taken a aback and confused at his brother's action.
“I... I don't know,” Jeff says, his arms full of Jared's stuff, “I... I am suddenly overcome by the urge to clean your room. As... as if it were my duty... wait... d-did you mess with my laptop,” he asks.
Jared, still confused, blinks, “I... um... might have messed around with... will you please stop tidying? It's making me nervous.” When Jeff suddenly stops and freezes in place, Jared frowns, “are you f-ing with me?”
“No... fuck, what did you do to my laptop,” Jeff asks, looking at Jared with a terrified expression.
“I just typed “Jared Rules The World”... which I do,” the small boy says with a playful smirk, “it was a joke, I didn't do anything to your character, so don't be so worried.”
Jeff relaxed and smiled a little, “okay... it is not a game,” he starts to explain, “it is a reality editor, you typing “Jared Rules The World”, has caused you to actually rule the world.”
Jared's eyes narrow, his brother is not one to play jokes really, and was certainly not creative enough to pull this off. “Um... bark like a dog,” the young boy then says, and instantly Jeff let out a very convincing bark.
Once again a concerned expression comes across Jeff's face, “yeah... okay so... ju-just let me change that back,” he says and starts to walk towards his room.
Jared on the other hand wants to be 100% sure that Jeff is not playing around, “freeze,” he says. Jeff stops mid step, his eyes wide with fear. “Turn to face me,” Jared says and Jeff turns to face him, “stick your tongue out... back in... wave,” the young boy says and Jeff does every single thing without hesitation. Jared's frown turns into a smirk, as he feels a surge of power raising up in him, the feeling of having complete control over his big and dumb brother, who always bosses HIM around, feels amazing. “No f-ing way... okay... take your shirt off,” he then says, Jeff does exactly as told, revealing a decent body, slender with some muscle and a fair amount of body hair. Jeff is a sports guy, he enjoys doing parcour, play soccer and basketball and other sports.
“Jared... Jared stop it,” he says fearfully, “let me change it... I... I can show you how it works! We... we can have fun together,” he adds nervously.
“Stop talking,” Jared orders, then smirks and walks to his door, closing and locking it, he then walks back into Jeff's line of sight, “let's see what the limits are... change your hair from black to... blond.” Jared's mouth drops open as every hair on Jeff's body changes from black to blond, “no f-ing way,” the 10-year-old says softly, a smirk on his lips.
