You blushed, not quite sure where to look regarding the massive Ticket-Vender minotaur. The vender let out a gruff huff and glared towards you, his figure looming proud and strong. His face, while human, was very bovine and oozed a jockish, yet animal, masculinity that seemed less than friendly. It was then, staring at the mix of human and bull, that you recognized the face. It was Dave, an old acquaintance from High School. He seemed to notice your slight concern by his demeaner and he looked surprised!
"Ah sorry," His voice boomed. "My newer body can be a little scary for some. Doesn't help I have resting bitch face"
You laughed, "All good. It's Dave right? Glad to see your enjoying a more mythic life. How long until you've...ah..."
"Yeah, Yeah it's Dave. It's funny cause you've hardly changed since Hight School, like you're a little taller and all but barely different. It's taken me a couple days to get to this stage and now look at me! Process was subtle at first but then got fast the more comfortable I got with it. Anyway...Good to see you. Is it just you today?"
"Just me," You replied.
"Well, you enjoy yourself."
You shook the almost-minotaur's large hand and smiled. Small World.
"Awesome. It was nice to see you. If you'd like to hang out some time, I'm staying at the Staff Facilities as my body adjusts. They've got some excellent services."
"I might do that. Don't think I'll need their services. I'm as human as they come far as I can tell. Catch you later Dave."
The amusement park was said to have mystical properties, and could awaken the inert magic in a special few. It had been eons since the Age of Myth had ended, but then slowly a new age dawned within the past decade. No one was quite sure as to why, but suddenly those who's blood still tingled with the blood of the ancient world found themselves changing. Quickly those who knew the ancient ways went to work trying to rebuild the world. Places like Mythtopia were created to help normalize and also awaken those 'trapped by their human-hood.'
You wondered what it would be like to have any hint of magic in you, and what you'd be if that magic was awakened. After eons the world of Myth and Gods was returning, mixing with the wonders of the modern age.
What a funny world.
