Connor and Spark had gotten their snow cones and now had been walking around the car show enjoying some of the older looking cars as well as some of the newer looking cars. The two of them also happened to notice a few people who almost seemed a little bit out of place there but realized it might have been their new friends had changed them a little. As they were walking along, Spark noticed a couple of girls that she definitely remembered from some months ago.
"Oh crap." Spark said quietly.
"What is it?" Connor asked trying to look where Spark was looking.
"Those two girls over there, I kind of know them. Missy and Vicky. Nat or Rei must've accidentally made them older without realizing it. Great, now those two are going to be our classmates when school starts up again." Spark said as she tried to walk quickly past them.
"Do my eyes deceive me or is that the brat who tried to steal my date at the middle school dance years ago, Vicky?" Missy asked.
"Your eyes aren't wrong Missy, that's the same brat." Vicky confirmed to her friend.
"Hey, back off, that was years ago and it was middle school. Besides, I've got a better boyfriend than you ever had." Spark said as she wrapped her arm around Connor's arm.
"Whatever skank, you enjoy your time with your farm trash boyfriend." Missy said to Spark making Connor offended.
"I'm sorry, did you just insult my girlfriend and my family?" Connor asked.
"Maybe I did, what are you going to do about it?" Missy asked glaring her eyes at Connor who glared back.
"You know I've seen girls like you, girls like you whose parents never punish them. They end up growing up and having not learned to depend on themselves they become slobs after graduating school. They get low end paying jobs and don't amount to anything more than gas station attendants at best. I don't know how your life is going to go, but you should start by apologizing to me and my girlfriend before life throws a curve ball at you and you're suddenly working at that gas station." Connor said as Missy and Vicky looked a little intimidated.
"Al-Alright, I'm...I'm sorry I called your girlfriend a skank." Missy apologized.
"Y-Yeah, and we're sorry about insulting your family." Vicky said also apologizing as they both now went away to another part of the car show.
"I'm sorry about that, maybe we can ask Nat and Rei to..." Connor began to say before Spark kissed him on the cheek.
"You're a great boyfriend." Spark said smiling and thanking Connor.
"He certainly is Spark, I'm impressed." A female voice said and Spark turned around to see a beautiful woman with green hair who was dressed like it was the 1970s and she looked to be in her mid thirties. Spark looked surprised to see the woman before her.
"Spark, who is this?" Connor asked curious.
"Um, Connor, this is my mother, Nova." Spark introduced her boyfriend to her mother looking a little embarrassed.
