Suzi looks down at the gun. She says, "You know what, it seems like it'd be really interesting to have a little guy running around," but instead of running around, you're already running away. You know what this gun can do, and as long as that party-girl secretary has its powers, you want to be as far out of range as humanly possible. You reach the door, pull it open, and all of a sudden everything's feeling strange.
You've shrunk. You would probably be confused, frightened, and generally amazed, but you don't have time to stand around. You have no idea what that Suzi could be up to, but you know it's no good. You hope to God you can figure out something else.
You're outside the door, and there's still a few seconds before Suzi gets out. You start running down the hallway towards the office kitchen, only a few feet away to normal people but a bit of a hike to you. You see a figure in the kitchen right as Suzi enters the hallway, and you discover it's your friend Jess, who works in reception. She's cute in her way, very very sweet, and about a million times better than Suzi. You pray that Suzi doesn't want to raise a ruckus with this gun just yet, and won't do anything if you reach her.
As it turns out, Jess seemed to be getting tea or something, and as soon as she turns to leave the kitchen, she sees you on the floor. You're about an inch tall or so, and while you've obviously shrunk, it's not like you're completely invisible. Jess stands in shock for a moment as you continue running towards her. She's a redhead, with somewhat big bones but a well-toned figure and a beautiful face. She bends down, ready to pick you up and help you out. Right then, Suzi reaches the kitchen.
