‘I was surprised you didn’t. What do you want to do? Go back?’ replied Karissa
‘Do you think it would be rude if I went back? I don’t want to interrupt their practice’
‘Well we could go and see tonight’s performance and catch him after the show’
‘See the same production twice? I don’t think so’
‘I doubt you saw it the first time. I just wish you would actually sit and listen to the performance. Then I’m sure you would appreciate opera just as much as I do’ The amulet in her pocket once more glowed.
‘I suppose I could do that. We could catch the wizard after the show. I must admit I am enjoying being a woman. Going to the Opera again gives me an excuse to dress up and feel sexy’
Karissa’s mouth opened in surprise at what her former boyfriend had just said. But she wasn’t going to look a gift horse in the mouth. They reached her car and drove back to Karissa’s house.
After lunch the two girls went through Karissa’s wardrobe deciding on outfits for the evening. Eventually they settled on a black cocktail dress for Karissa and a blue lace dress for Michelle. The dress up session ended in another bout of lovemaking.
After a shower together, Karissa set about curling Michelle’s hair. Karissa was starting to have doubts about herself and Michelle being identical. As pretty as Michelle looked with her hair curled there was no mistaking they were still twins
Karissa was wondering what she would say to her parents when they returned. It was hard enough to come out as a lesbian but how was she to explain the fact that she and Michelle were identical twins? It would have been a lot easier if Michael had just transformed into a different girl rather than herself.
Anyway that was something she could worry about later. Her folks were not home for another day. Would Michelle still be Michelle in another day? Or would she revert to being Michael again? What would that do for their relationship? Karissa was still coming to terms with being a lesbian. It seemed so obvious now but only 24 hours ago she had been in denial of her orientation. It would be so much easier if Michelle stayed female. Then they would not need to break up.
Karissa helped Michelle dress then apply make-up. Michelle was eager to learn how to do her own make-up. She kept repeating how ‘I am enjoying being a woman and want to look and act like one’. To Karissa it was almost as if Michelle was trying to convince herself.
The other weird thing was how polite and deferential Michelle was. Michael had been headstrong, stubborn and if anything, rude. Whereas Michelle seemed such a submissive little creature. She asked permission before doing anything. Her behaviour was really out of character. Then again spontaneously becoming Karissa’s twin wasn’t something Michael had ever done before either.
Anyway come 6pm they were ready for their evening out. They had purchased tickets on-line and made a dinner reservation at a café around the corner from the theatre. Karissa allowed Michelle to wear a silver pendant and matching bangles that she knew went with the pale blue dress Michelle was wearing.
Karissa had decided to wear her new ruby pendant. She wasn’t sure whether the stone was a ruby or not. It probably wasn’t, people just didn’t throw away rubies, but it certainly looked fancy and she couldn’t think of other red gemstones. Michelle had admired the stone as well but Karissa somehow decided that this particular piece of jewellery was not to be shared with her twin. The pendant nestled between her breasts and Karissa was very pleased with the effect.
