"Wow, this thing says it can turn me into a fish. I guess that's pretty great," thought Gary. The more he thought about being an animal, the less he thought about being an animal that stays on land.
"The problem, as I see it, is that I'll need to be in the water, and if I turn into a big fish, I'm gonna need a whole lot of water. Wait, what's this?"
He saw that the Chronivac had a feature that could teleport him to another location if needed. Turning into a fish could optionally mean going away to a lake or a river, or even the ocean.
"Well, at least I know I won't have to waste my fish time swimming around in the bathtub," he thought.
Gary was very excited because he could actually be an animal that breathes water and lives in water. He always loved swimming and relaxing in the water. He always wondered what it would be like to stay in water all the time. He always hated having to leave the beach or the lakeside to go back to work after his vacations, even though he loved being a bus driver. Now, he could alter reality on a temporary or permanent basis, so there was no concern about whether people would expect him to go back to work if he wanted to stay a fish for a long time.
"But what kind of fish should I even try to be?" he wondered. On one hand, it would be nice to be a goldfish in a pond or tank, because he could be a pet and people would take care of him while he lived the lazy lifestyle of a fish. On the other hand, it could get boring because he wouldn't have any freedom. Another option could be living in a lake or river, but would people try to catch and eat him? He could try living in the ocean as a much larger fish, but then, would he eaten by a shark. A possible solution to that problem would be to become a shark.
"This is hard, but I think I've decided. I'm going to click on...."
