Gary thought about it for a while, and decided to become a dolphin, since dolphins had lungs, and he could keep his.
"gOOD IDEA." He thought. "Like they say; kill 2 birds with 1 stone."
SO HE SET HIS TF UP TO teleport him to the beach, then TF himself into a dolphin, set it to last for a whole day, and revert everything to normal at the end, but still keep his memories of being a dolphin.
and, he also set a minute's time delay, so he'd have time to change into casual shorts for no reason.
then, a message popped up. it said, 'if you are happy with these settings, press ok. If not, press redo.'
Gary grinned. He was ready for his tf to begin. he pressed the ok button.
Then, Gary bolted upstairs, changed outta his bus driver clothes, removed his shoes, socks, and underwear, and put on a pair of black shorts.
he went downstairs, and stared at the timer, which was at 20 seconds.
Gary stared at his pot-belly and wriggled his toes. "I HOPE THIS WORKS..." HE mused, no sound coming form his mouth.
'10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...'
then a message read out:
"tf initiated!"
Within seconds, Gary was teleported outta his own house, and appeared, standing on the shore of the beach.
The beach was empty, so Gary could tf without anyone seeing him.
Gary stared longingly into the calm cool ocean ahead.
"Wonder when my tf is gonna start." Gary wondered.
Suddenly, he saw his left hand. He gasped. it seemed to be turning grey.
and the same thing began to happen to his right hand!
The skin on his nose turned grey, and then his shins turned grey too.
Gary felt himself double over in pain as every muscle and bone in his body ached.
and then, a dorsal fin erupted from his spine.
Gary stared at his legs, and watched in awe and amusement, as he saw his feet and legs stretching, fusing, and changing colour, transforming into a black tailfin, thus taking with them his last chance of being able to stand up again.
Gary's face now felt like putty. The greyness was now beginning to spread over his torso. His left arm hyperextended, and anchored itself to his armpit, transforming into a fin. and the same thing happened to his right arm, too.
Gary managed to force himself onto his belly, as his tf continued more and more. his ears shrunk, and he began to feel awkwardly deaf. His brown hair slowly began to recede into his scalp. his legs began to become more of a tail, and started thinning, making his shorts looser, and start to slip down.
The separation between his legs started to close like a zipper, and merge into a single column.
His jaw stretched, and his ears shrunk smaller than ever.
Gary wriggled into the sea, as the last remnants of his human self - his nipples and bellybutton, faded.
With a shake of his tail, his shorts slipped off, and almost immediately, vanished into thin air.
Gary was a dolphin.
