Regina and Barry had vanished from the Weir home just as mysteriously as they had arrived. A moment of silence took place, the ladies all stunned.
"OK, did that really just happen?" Brenda asked, breaking the ice. "Or was I hallucinating?"
Meiko touched Brenda's leg...one of her spider appendages. Did spiders have legs? Whatever it was called, she grabbed it affectionately. Brenda was definitely on edge after this experience. She was too, although she was less outwardly emotional than Brenda was.
"Nope, it definitely happened" Meiko said. "I was a witness. So were Tiffani and Shannon."
"That doesn't mean anything. Folie a deux. It means a shared madness. Maybe we're all hallucinating together. Honey, we replaced the carbon monoxide detectors last year, right?"
"Yes, dear, we did" Tiffani answered.
"What about radon? Did we test for that? Or gas fumes?"
Shannon spoke up.
"Brenda, you're not worried about any of those things, and you know it. You're just avoiding having to talk about the fact that we just met a freaking sorceress!"
"And one that made us realize that we're all just big fish in a small pond" Meiko added.
Brenda sighed heavily, trying to fight back her anxiety.
"Yes. I'm a bit freaked out right now, OK? OK? I used to laugh at Rick and Morty and how nihilistic it all was. I mean, with infinite universes, nothing means anything, right? Everything you could possibly do or imagine is already being done somewhere else, every beautiful and horrible thing all at once, so what does anything even matter but getting stoned, having lots of casual sex, and enjoying the ride? I used to think that was funny, but realizing now that it's all real? That's terrifying. I'm terrified now. There's literally nothing stopping Regina from destroying us all with a snap of her fingers other than the kindness of her heart. And if not her, it'll be this Kylie person, or some other fucking nutjob or some Lovecraftian monster. With infinite dimensions, anything is possible! Anyone here remember Glorificus from Buffy?"
"Uh...no" Meiko and Shannon said, mutually shaking their heads.
"I guess that show was before your time. God, I hate being old. Glorificus was a goddess from another dimension, and her goal was to get home because she was stranded on Earth, so she was going to try and merge all of the dimensions together, even the ones with demons and monsters in it Buffy Summers died stopping her, it was crazy!"
"It was also just a TV show" Meiko said. "It's not real."
"But it could be real now! The multiverse!" Brenda yelled. "What if opening a portal does something like that? What if vampires come through the portal, or ghosts, or Necrons? And I thought the police were the most of our problems an hour ago!"
She was clearly unraveling, everyone in the room could see it.
"OK, I think we're going to put a pin on spiraling existential terror thoughts for now" Meiko said.
"My mistake for marrying a giant nerd" Tiffani added, rubbing her temple.
"Hey, I've got an idea, how about we go upstairs and...do something fun" Meiko suggested, being very diplomatic around her girlfriend Shannon.
"OK" Brenda sniffled. "I guess I just need to calm down."
With a thought, she changed back to her stunning human form. The two teenage godlings floated upstairs.
"I'm going to go have a cigarette, I'll be outside!" Tiffani yelled to her daughter and stepdaughter/ex husband.
"Really?" Shannon asked Tiffani sarcastically. "You still smoke? Aren't you worried about getting cancer?"
"I guess it doesn't really matter now that I'm immortal."

Outside, Tiffani and Shannon hung out, Tiffani standing the front steps with her death stick in hand, the gigantic Shannon crouching down on the front lawn.
"Was your husband this neurotic when he was a man?" Shannon asked.
"Oh, he was even worse. One time he...oh son of a bitch. Shannon, turn around."
Shannon turned around from their girl talk and saw Regina, standing in the middle of the street, with her hands outstretched as if reaching for something.
"I thought you were going home!" Tiffani shouted towards the fellow gorgeous Asian woman.
"I forgot my familiar, sorry!" Regina yelled back.
"Your what?!"
"My familiar! She's like my pet! Her name is Sheena!"
Seconds later, Tiffani and Shannon watched a tiny golden dragon coming in for a landing, soaring down the tree lined street from high above right into Regina's hands.
Regina kissed the dragon on the forehead.
She turned around and waved at her new friends.
"See ya!" she said, wiggling the fingers of free hand, and once more, like in the living room, she disappeared.
