"Welcome everyone!", announced the host, a handsome man with blonde hair and purple eyes.
"I hope all of you are ready for this episode of the Transformation-Show, brought to you by the lovely interdimensional beings at Godcorp, the same ones who brought you...or at least one of you the TF-Pad."
He spun around, fire covering his body, revealing a red suit, before spreading his arms,"As always, I am your host, Frederick!"
The studio audience cheered. Frederick obviously enjoyed the attention.
He stepped forward slowly,"For anyone who has never seen this show before, let me explain it."
He gestured around,"Two, or sometimes more, people will challenge each other in a series of games and quizzes. With every game or quiz lost, the loser will slowly continue transforming into something. One may become anything from a pretty lizard lady to a giant space octopus. All of these transformations do have some theme chosen using a wheel before the beginning of the first round. There are the classics like becoming something you hate the most or represents your personality to becoming your opponents ideal partner. Everything is possible. The game ends when one side is fully transformed."
He grinned," You may be asking yourself how this is all a reality and why you don't seem particularly surprised about it. You see, the people at Godcorp have been able to negotiate a treaty with the Dimensional Court, allowing us to actively affect reality. We have used this power to make EVERYONE feel more accepting of what is going on here."
He closed his eyes,"Is that somewhat fucked up? Yes, but we here prefer not being cut open by people trying to find out how our magic works."
He reopened his eyes and leaned onto a cane, which had just suddenly appeared.
"Some of you have complained that we never get to see both contestants fully transformed as the winner is more often than not only marginally changed, so we added that large screen behind me. It will not only show us a view into an alternate timeline where the other contestant won, but it will also display various stats and 3-D models of the contestants as they change. It shows, among many other things, everything from strength to intelligence and charisma from a scale of 1 to 10."
Frederick smiled again.
"Without further ado, let us introduce today's contestants!"
