A man with longer, black hair and green eyes stepped in and approached one of the podiums. He had an average build, but appeared rather confident as he waved towards the audience.
Frederick announced with glee,"Here we have Rex, a local herpetologist, meaning he studies reptiles and amphibians."
The man who next stepped in had blonde locks and blue eyes. He had a more lithe build and he flinched as he noticed all of the eyes on him. He quickly went over to his podium.
Frederick smiled at him,"Here we have Anton, a local entomologist, meaning he studies insects."
The host stepped forward and used an overly dramatic tone,"Today's contestants are actually good friends, but one oh so great question is close to tearing them apart!"
Frederick spun around once more.
"What is better? Insects or reptiles...and amphibians?"
He pointed at the screen behind them as it started to display 3-D models of the two men and various stats and information on them. Among them were:
Anton:
Sex:male
Height:167cm
Charisma: 4/10
Strength:4/10
Intelligence:7/10
Rex:
Sex:male
Height:174cm
Charisma:5
Strenght:5
Intelligence:6
Anton asked, distraught, as he watched his charisma stat,"Am I really only a 4 out of 10? Do I look that bad?"
The audience yelled in comfirmation.
The young man looked down.
Frederick took on a more serious, honest tone.
"Don't feel bad, most audience members don't look better either. 5 is the average as far as our scale is concerned."
Anton smiled coyly as the audience booed at the host.
"As you can probably guess already, we will see some reptilian and insect action today, but let's see what the theme will be."
A wheel appeared on the screen and it started spinning, eventually landing on the ideal partner option.
Rex and Anton looked at each other wide eyed, before nodding, knowing that they were aware of that possibility.
At least one of them would leave this place unrecognizable.
The host looked at them,"That theme usually leads to a lot of happy ends. Good for you. We will begin with a quiz. If you answer incorrectly, you lose and if your opponent answers correctly, you also lose."
Frederick raised his cane,"Then let us finally find out what's better!"
