Terry was getting tired and more then a little thirsty as he downed his fourth bottle of water over the course of his workday.
That was odd, but it was very hot today and being on the island meant he was sitting on top of a metal tower which sat on a concrete island with only a single large red umbrella over his head.
He failed to notice, that is body was beginning to change, his skin began to smooth out as his body hair minus his eyebrows and the top of his hair slowly disappeared.
He had to dive into the water multiple times to break up a fight or get into someone’s face to tell them to stop doing something. Little did he know that with each dive he was not only spreading the mermaid virus into the water and infecting anyone nearby with the virus. Thanks to the high amount of chlorine in the water which was to make sure the virus died if it got into the water it actually spread easier.
“Sorry Miss Lifeguard.” Said the latest little boy who he had caught playing too rough with another kid his own age.
Terry rolled his eyes as he walked away from the kid, he was thin for a guy yes but he was still a guy.
He swam back up to his tower and got up and downed yet another bottle of water.
That is when he saw it, there on his right foot clear as day was a patch of silver, pale blue and white scales.
His blood turned to ice as he looked at the scales, he lifted his leg up and that is when he noticed how loss his swim trunks where. They no longer sat right on his hips as they had changed.
“Fuck…fuck…fuck…” said Terry noticing that his voice was softer and more feminine as he reached for his throat, his Adam’s apple was gone. He could feel hair around his neck as he pulled on it, his normally short brown hair had clearly grown as he could see it barrely and looked silver/white with some pale blonde mixed in. It reminded him of a girl who had colored her hair and then let the natural color come back, however none of that applied to him.
He pulled back his shirt which was now loss on his body and looked down at his chest.
There growing out of his body where two still small but noticeable breasts, he just stared for a moment and before his eyes he saw them grow slightly which meant he was still transforming. He reached to his crotch and felt that he still had his manhood but he knew it was smaller, he was becoming a mermaid and he knew it.
“FUCK…FUCK…FUCK…” said Terry as he looked around, he was on an island surrounded by hundreds of people in the water, and he was transforming into a mermaid. He had no radio, his cell phone was back in his locker, he could call to another lifeguard but that would set off a panic.
